My partner and I stayed here for one night whilst visiting friends. The Farmhouse is stunning! It is beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable and very clean. Sandra was very welcoming and breakfast was lovely. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Stayed here recently with my wife whilst visiting family. We had a lovely time. Sandra is a great hostess, genuinely friendly, and a pleasure to chat to. The farmhouse is lovely, and very comfortable. Our en-suite room was quiet, had lovely views of the hills and countryside around, and was very clean.
We had an excellent breakfast, and were made really welcome. We will certainly be back.
An added benefit is reasonable phone reception on O2: rural Hampshire is rubbish for phone reception, and it was handy to be able to make the odd call from here.

I booked a nights stay at Bury Hill Farmhouse as a suprise "mini break" for my partner's birthday, and it was an absolute treat. The farmhouse is stunning, the surrounding countryside peaceful and beautiful. We live in a very beautiful area of Berkshire in a characterful cottage which we love, and so often I am slightly disappointed when we have the odd night away, but not this time! The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and furnished (no chintz in sight, my pet hate!!) and we were made to feel very welcome and at home. Sandra was absolutely lovely and couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and I would have loved to have stayed longer - we will definitely be going back.

This is a really welcoming, tastefully furnished bed and breakfast, set in beautiful English countryside. The house is spotlessly clean with firm, comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast choice using locally sourced produce. The owner makes you feel right at home and nothing seems too much trouble. If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely stay here.

We had a fantastic night - shame it couldn't have been for longer. Absolute stunning location and amazing house as well. The quiet and peaceful surroundings were a welcome treat and the hospitality of Sandra made it a complete memorable stay. We would definitely recommend and would return at any opportunity.

We had a wonderful stay in this delighful, luxurious B and B. It is a beautiful farmhouse set in well-manicured gardens surrounded by the exquisite Bourne Valley countryside. Everything exudes comfort, luxury and peace. Bliss! The owner was abosutely charming and couldn't do enough to make our stay the best. She managed to produce an amazing meal while chatting happily to us and made us feel so welcome. In the morning, after a delicious, hearty breakfast we set off for a walk from the house through surely some of the best countryside England can offer. In the pretty village a short walk away we found the pubs welcoming and the food and ales did not disappoint. Unfortunately, we could only stay for a short while this time but have already booked to go back - and cannot wait!

Room Tip: There didn't seem to be a bad room. All have a good lookout and are very well deorated and comf...

Have read the reviews, our expectations were high and we were looking forward to enjoying 'Sandra's hospitality', which was a strong reason for choosing this venue. Yes, it is a beautiful house, well furnished and set in lovely countryside. But we were let down, no Sandra, a muted welcome from the lodger, who had just used our bathroom! Clothes in the wardrobe so ours went on the floor, no toiletries, no soap in our bathroon, no fridge, dead flies all over the floors and on the breakfast table. We walked downstairs in the morning to find the table laid for two (we were a party of four). A friend of Sandra's gave us breakfast, unfortunately she had been told to cater for two people. There was no choice (as on the website), no cereal, no marmalade, no fruit, so basically what was on offer was a limited cooked breakfast. All in all, we felt uncomfortable, as if in someone's home but not wanted. To enjoy this property as it obviously can be - my advice - make sure when you book, that Sandra will be in the country!!

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for en suite room if you want one, ours had a separate bathroom. Both nicely decor...
