“French cellars in Great Western”
Reviewed 2 December 2012

We did the cellar tour with wine tasting. Nice to hear the history and to see the underground cellars. It is like France only the bottles are filled with water and the cellars are no longer in use for the wine industry. But good that they still excist and wonderfull spot for celebrations. The wine tasting was nice and also the red sparkling wine is al little strange for us from Europe but for New Years Evening in Australië it will be great to drink.

“Very interesting and quite amazing!”
Reviewed 25 October 2012

We were en route to Halls Gap and made it in time for the 2pm wine tour and tasting. The history of this place is amazing as are the stories told. The hand dug underground cellar is unbelievable as are the free standing racks of wine bottles. Well worth the visit and the tastings after the tour.

“Great Tours and excellent wines”
Reviewed 25 September 2012

The tour through part of the drives (tunnels), excavated in the late 1860s, is unique. This is the home of Australian Bubbly. Enjoy the tastings and buy up if you wish.

“Great tour and wine tasting”
Reviewed 14 September 2012

We loved this tour. The history and underground cellars were great. Our tour guide Alan was informative and really knew his stuff.
The wine tasting afterwards was lovely.
Reasonably priced activity at only $16 per head. We were there for approx. 2 hours.

Don't wear light coloured clothing in the underground cellars in case the mould from the roof of the cellars drops on you!
