Bought the beef burger which was ok but could have had a more substancial bun and fillings for the price. Enviromently using foam packaging; not good.

Picture this. It's Saturday night. Every restaurant in town you go to is booked out. The supermarket has barely anything left that is quick and easy enough to cook for your kids at the caravan park. You've read the reviews, you know the fish and chips aren't great but you are running out of options. So you order the fish and chips. And it's barely edible so you go hungry anyway. I don't know if they read these reviews but they should. They need to sort out the problem of everything being so soggy - the fish just fell apart and the greasy batter stuck to the paper. They asked if we wanted salt but I think maybe two chips got salted. And who doesn't toast the bun for a hamburger?
Moral of the story? Make sure you make a reservation at a restaurant, any restaurant, for tea on a Saturday night.

Enjoyed the fish and chips - not at all greasy and well cooked. Price of fish compared to what we are used to was very expensive

Filthy shop smelling of mice. Expensive, burnt, stale muck. Could not eat, money given back after returning the rubbish. Worst fish and chips in my 52 years. Congratulations to the owners for this award. Hang your head in shame. 10 year old girls could do better. PATHETIC

Seems strange to run a fish shop that shuts at 6pm and wasnt open on Anzac Day. I thought the food was quite ok and I enjoyed the fried butterfish. A little pricey but expect that in a tourist town.
