Such unique accommodation options. We stayed in the mud brick cabin and absolutely loved it. The views are amazing, what a location. And close to Halls Gap. The owners were also friendly and super helpful.

We had a lovely stay at Grampians Pioneer Cottages! The kids loved letting the chickens out in the morning and checking for eggs. There were kangaroos and emus wandering by the front of the property, and the plentiful firewood kept the fireplace burning and made sure we were nice and cosy (plus there was great heating). Great location close to everything you need and friendly, helpful hosts! (Loved the electric blankets too!!) Thanks for having us, we will definitely be back!

Hi Jacki

Thank you for your wonderful review, it's always great when we have people like yourself leaving such positive feedback about all the different aspects of what a stay here can offer. The chickens are very much a favourite attraction here! We look forward to your return.

The log cabin is set within beautiful surroundings, lovely views and an abundance of wildlife right on the doorstep. From the outside, it's a quaint log cabin, but the interior is well equiped providing you with all the comforts to make your stay enjoyable! Well maintained and very clean. Not too far from the centre of Halls Gap and walks/hikes and the zoo. The fire place was a nice touch, plenty of wood supplied to keep fire going.

Hi Lara

Thank you for taking the time to review us and it's wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your stay. The open fireplaces on a cold winters night is definitely something to look forward to after a day of hiking. And as you mentioned all the cottages have the creature comforts to relax and unwind.

Cheers,

Aidan, Corinne and Anna

I have visited Grampian's almost 6-7 times, stayed in all different places, I have to say this takes the cake.
Stayed here for 3 nights and just fell in love. The surroundings are beautiful, full of wildlife, and some cheeky yet very friendly chickens. Even though it rained most days and was pretty chilly, we loved it thoroughly. We just lit the open fireplace, drank tea/wine, the little one roasted marshmallows, and absorbed the beautiful scenery. Please is clean and very welcoming. The place shares the boundary with the zoo and you can see some animals if you get lucky. Very hospitable owners. So going back there again.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Red Brick Cottage

Thank you so much for your wonderful review, we're a bit lucky aren't we! The rain hasn't stopped yet, but the fire is still going, (in our own lounge room :P ) and the chickens are still being cheeky, naturally. Looking forward to welcoming you back on your next visit.
Best wishes, Corinne, Aidan, Anna and the chickens :)

We loved the red gum cottage so much. It was way better in person than in the air bnb pics. So much wildlife and nature on the property, really close to all the best hikes/walks.
Another really nice touch was the fire place. Aidan and Corinne were awesome hosts, we basically didn't see them all weekend but they always made sure our wood supply was topped up!

Thank you for your lovely review, glad to hear you enjoyed the redgum log cottage. I think the open fires are one of the cottages best features, can't beat sitting by one on a cold and rainy evening! Hopefully we will see you again soon.
Best wishes, Corinne, Aidan and Anna
