What a magnificent place! 4 nights wasn’t long enough. Everything is thought of here. A real credit to the owners. Can’t wait to return!
We had 4 nights at Bella Casa during the Food & Wine festival.
The house is very well presented with lovely clean and comfortable bedding.
Having two lounges in the main room was great for reading or watching TV.
Log fire heating was marvellous, kept the whole house warm.
Great location for walking, cycling, fishing.
Well located in a great part of the world. Everything needed for a relaxing time was there. Peter (the owner) was a great contact to work with.
No need to look any further. This house is beautifully designed and decorated. The owners have provided everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Everything about this house says quality from the beds and their linen to the bathroom and the towels to the kitchen and its equipment, this list just goes on. It is nestled amongst the trees with great views and is very quiet and peaceful yet not too far from town (should you want to leave the house). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.
This is a beautiful place to stay. Clean, warm and relaxing with all the comforts. Enjoyed relaxing in the spa after a day of exploring the Grampians. The kids loved the visting birds. Highly recommend.
Luxury house with all the aminities along with the Internet. Best holiday house at halls gap with everything in walkable distance.
It was the first 2 nights of a week long road trip from South Australia to Melbourne. We had surprisingly never been to the Grampians before - we've always flown to Melbourne and had never driven there. The Grampians are absolutely beautiful but the accommodation really made our stay. Its location gives it a big tick to start with - in easy walking distance of the town centre but what sets it apart is that it is spotlessly clean, with everything thought of for a relaxing stay including the little things like salt and pepper, sauce so that we could have a BBQ. I have not got a single negative thing to mention about the accommodation or the process with Peter. He kindly rang us on the way to let us know we could get in earlier (we were still travelling and couldn't). I know a lot of places now are pet friendly but going against the grain - I try and choose ones that aren't as both my daughter and I are allergic to dogs and find that accommodation that does allow pets always seems to still have a 'pet' smell.
We definitely appreciated the spa on both nights we were there - after a lot of walking and doing Mackenzie Falls.
All 3 of us said that we would be very happy to go to the Grampians for longer next time and this accommodation would definitely be our first choice.
