What a beautiful property! 3 and a half acres of pure bliss. The studio was spacious, impeccably clean and cosy. The outdoor area was decked out with a fire pit and large BBQ with ample seating. The hosts were so accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Shae (Australian Shepherd) stole our hearts with her friendly personality and beautiful nature, she and our 2 year border collie x kelpie were the best of friends. A great place to switch off and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings. Can't wait to return!
After spending several visits and staying in the lovely Bundjil Studio in Healesville. It is a lovely quiet spot for a getaway, very clean and beautiful bed linen, fully equipped kitchen. Lianne and Paul are the perfect hosts, everything is very professional and nothing is too much trouble when asking for them for help.We would certainly love to return for another visit sometime.
Perfectly positioned for visits to the Healesville sanctuary; Yarra valley; snowfields and wineries. My hosts made me feel so welcome and having Shea to play with was great, too.
I will definitely be back ...wait...if I tell you how great it is, I may not be able to get in. Hmmm.
Stayed here for our first wedding anniversary in July 18.
Its a beautifully presented little place, that is very well equipped - especially the kitchen area. We had a lovely night in one night and cooked a 3 course meal for 2 and at the dinner table with candles!!! It was very romantic.
The place is situated in a great spot, it feels very secluded even though it is joined on to the main house. The owners are friendly and just left us to it, which we liked, they have an adorable dog that is more than happy to say hi (which I LOVED).
Its made of rammed earth and I try to be as eco friendly as I can so this was a great selling point for me. Its got a nice hot shower, and a very well presented bathroom. Very soft towels and a huge comfy bed.
It has a very cosy homely feel to it, and I would love to come back and stay. It was the ideal place to spend out first wedding anniversary and an ideal winter get away.
From here we easily visited a winery for dinner, Healesville town centre, with it organic grocers and cafe (do check those out) and the wildlife sanctuary. We also went hiking - there are many trails to do around here, and this is a great base to check them out.
We would love to come back some time!
Thanks for a lovely stay :)
This beautiful cottage is set in amongst the bush just a
short drive/walk into the centre of Healesville. It is
exceptionally well presented with everything you need provided.
Both the bed and bedding are really comfortable and
the whole cottage kept to a very high standard.
Thank you so much Lianne & Paul for your welcome and help
in making our stay so comfortable.
I'll start by saying that the place was immaculate, warm and welcoming. There was an assortment of little goodies waiting for us on the kitchen bench including tea and coffee as well as some chocolates which was a very nice surprise! There was even some milk in the fridge.
Because we arrived late and were out early each day during our brief trip, we didn't actually get to meet our hosts, but Lianne touched base with us via email in the lead-up to our stay to make sure we had directions and were aware of Shea, their gorgeous and playful dog! Unlike a couple of other places we looked at, Lianne was not only comfortable with us bringing along our toddler, but went as far as offering to arrange a travel cot as well.
The accommodation itself is perfectly presented and sits amongst a picturesque spot of bushland. Despite being tucked away, it's still easy to find from the road and only 5 minutes drive from the centre of Healesville.
All in all, we honestly couldn't fault a thing and will happily return at the first opportunity!
We had a wonderful 3 day stay in Bundjil studio. The studio is super clean and very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, It is a short drive into Healesville and situated in peaceful bushand, perfect for coming back to after a day out visiting vineyards and the lovely countryside.
Paul and Lianne are wonderful hosts and their dog Shea a joy.
