Fraga's has a good reputation locally so, on our romantic getaway, we were keen to have a sleep in and and then our Sunday morning breakie there. When we arrived at 12.03pm, they abruptly refused to serve us breakfast as it was after 12.00pm! We took our business elsewhere - to the Marysville Patisserie - where we were welcomed warmly and had a great feed.

On two barmy summer's days in Marysville, we had a delightful lunch sitting outside at Fraga's in the main street watching the world go by. Both days we had the Smoked Trout Salad and the Chargrilled Chicken Salad. They were both delicious and thankfully allowed room for dessert which was firstly Banoffee Pie for me and gluten free Dark Chocolate Cake for him and secondly Lemon Teacake for me and Peanut Brittle for him. Being a fan of dessert, it was so nice to find different options that are homemade rather than mass produced somewhere and these were all scrumptious. Marysville is lovely and well worth a visit - as is Fraga's.

Looking for a place for lunch along the Main Street, with the bakery rather full and hot, Fraga's looked inviting with its outdoor dining under orange umbrellas. Ordering the smokes trout baguette and chargrilled chicken in a country cafe we didn't expect what we received.

The baguettes we fresh and so crispy just like in Paris. The fillings are just perfect, the delicate flavour of the local smoked trout with Brie, what a combination. Mum has the chargrilled chicken and for a person with a sensitive stomach, she completely enjoyed the meal.

Service from the young girls really extended the country hospitality of Marysville

Mr Fraga's, please open a cafe near Ringwood and I will be there regularly

Thank you to you and your staff
