Ate here for lunch mid August on our way back to Melbourne. Don't be put off by the prices you see, just do yourself a favour and experience 1st class food, accompanied by lovely Brown Brothers wines, service and atmosphere. Had the most divine pork belly entrée, then the lamb dish which was sublime. Oooh you MUST have the side of potato chips, they are to die for!!.

The Epicurean Centre actually has three adjoining function areas. The Brown Bros wine tasting, the Patricia Restaurant, and the tapas/snack area next to the restaurant.

The Patricia Restaurant is indeed fabulous. Located in stunning grassed garden surrounds with full length glass doors that would open out to the grounds in summer, and a couple of nice gas fires in winter. The tables are beautifully setup with an array of wine glasses ready for action.

The food is top notch and the matching wines excellent. We had a main course each but shared an entree and dessert and we were delighted to see they were constructed one one plate but in two portions for easy sharing. Finesse and flavors are terrific.

Not open for dinner. Note the options are E&M, M&D, E&M&D. No option for main only. Join the club at no charge or obligation for a 10% discount. The 10% discount also applies to the cellar door wine purchases.

It can be busy in summer and also winter if the snow is not good and the skiers descend from the mountain in search of other activities. Reservations advised.

Not to be missed if you are in the area.

My wife and I arrived at the Epicurean Centre without a booking. We were disappointed when told that they were full but they told us that we could have something to eat in the bar area.
On seeing the menu on offer we weren't disappointed for long. There were some great choices and we eventually settled on the charcuterie board, cheese tasting plate, potato wedges and croquettes.
We realised we'd probably gone overboard when the waitress told us that the small table that we were sitting at wouldn't be big enough. The platters arrived and there was a fantastic selection.
We spent the next couple of hours slowly getting through the food and tasting some of the Brown Brothers wines.
There was definitely a silver lining to this cloud. We loved our meal and would definitely return.
