“Orgasmic coffee”
Reviewed 21 April 2014

It advertises 'organic' coffee...but this is the best coffee I have ever had. Perfect temperature, incredibly refined... pure pleasure... Picture the scene from "When Harry Met Sally" and you can imagine the pleasurable feelings that run through you after drinking their superb coffee. I wandered in there a tad frazzled after doing the lyrebird walk, but the staff were still pleasant ... and can I mention that coffee again? Ooooohhh MY God!

“Perfect place for lunch after walking the rail trail”
Reviewed 7 March 2014

This is a wonderful little cafe with a massive selection of gourmet chocolates and drinks. The hot chocolates are the closest thing you'll find to an italian ciocolatta. The meals are great too with home made fare and always something for vegetarians.
There's a great outdoor area you can sit in with your dog if you've gone walking with them.

Enjoyed coffee and cake in the garden area on a Sunday afternoon, coffee, cake and service were excellent. Cafe was very clean and chocolates displayed in the shop were very inviting.

“The Very Best in The Country”
Reviewed 24 October 2013

Aim to make this your morning tea / afternoon tea stop. It is the only place to get really good coffee in town; and the service, bakery items and local produce are top quality.
I always spend at least 3 times my meal cost on quality jams, cakes or biscuits, vinegars, condiments :-)
