we had a voucher given as a xmas gift, booked Sunday before Mothers Day, then they rang[2 days later] to say they had forgotten about a pre booked wedding, so we had to cancel.
We then rebooked for Sunday 16th May.
Unfortunately , I had flu, and was unable to travel that day, so , we cancelled.
we were told as we hadnt given 24 hours notice, the voucher was void. This is according to their "condtions apply" policy, which isnt printed on voucher, but you are told about when you cancel.
When my wife rang to cancel, she got a frosty reception from a staff member, as did my brother in law, who tried to reason with them [ they also had the same day booked].
Would seem that Dave2026 was right [ see his review].
Ironic that they cancelled on us, yet, they kept the money from the voucher when we did the same .
Think theres a lesson to be learnt , with this mob.

stayed there for 1 night but after checking in i regretted for staying only 1 night. reception was very friendly. the room was very comfortable. the toilet has a heater so it was very comfy to shower.. had breakfast in the room. was great. the whole stay was great. the car was parked outside the room but has to walk a bit. but it was alright. didnt go for the heated pool as the weather was a bit chilly but the pool looks great.
the only bad thing is the location that is not too near to the other places i visited for sightseeing..

Terrible motel. I went to the foyer of the establishment to check out and was instantly accused of being the instigator of loud noise and disruption in the carpark the night before at 3am. The funny thing was, was that I was fast asleep at 1am and didn't hear a thing. Rude old man on the reception..never again!

We fell upon Best Western Brooklands after having checked out early from a hotel down the road in Rye where we had been kept awake by noise from fellow guests. From the start we knew we would be comfortable. The reception area was nicely decorated for Christmas and we could glimpse an indoor pool which was beautifully appointed. The owner/manager was professional and helpful and tolerated no noise from guests. She showed us several rooms. The gardens were immaculately kept. We stayed in the new wing where the rooms were sumptious beyond description. The only downside of the new rooms was that, although there were tables and chairs on each patio, it was still very reminiscent of a building site. I assume that greenery and foliage is still to be installed in the barren ground along the bare back fence behind which a dog yapped all afternoon. I could not see where the guests occupying the floor above would sit out as there were no balconies. I was slightly miffed that we were given the end room by the lift and under the stairs when only one other room in the whole wing was occupied, especially as a sewage smell seemed to come from the septic tank adjacent to our room. To my mind, the older garden rooms with terraces and patios are prettier and more preferable for relaxation. There seems to be good team spirit at this establishment with everyone pulling together for the benefit of the guests. Found the pricing high for a Best Western, but the standard is high for a Best Western.

We stayed here for 1 night while visiting a friend down in Mornington. The motel was lovely, the front desk person was really nice and very welcoming. The room was large and clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The only negetive it didn't have a lounge area to go and have a drink... never mind we just went down the road.
I think it might be a little over priced for a Best Western

Stayed 2 nights. Entire property has been recently renovated. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern. We did not reserve a room with a spa, but that's what we were given. Grounds are immaculately maintained. Property also has an indoor heated pool and gym, both well maintained. Staff were all very friendly and professional. Only one possible negative, the car spaces are small. Is hard to believe this premium standard motel is a part of the Best Western chain. Would stay again in a flash.

We stayed here for three nights recently, very quiet location, yet close to Mornington and all other areas of the Peninsula. Our room was huge and very comfortable with great touches like cheese and crackers and lots of towels. We had a garden room which had a pretty courtyard area. We have no hesitation in recommending this motel it is a great find.
