Description: The historic Victorian-style homestead on Tanti Ave in Mornington has sported many different looks over the past century, and new owners are breathing new life into this stunning property. To delightfully contrast with its old-world charm, Brooklands of Mornington has opened Brooks Restaurant and Bar, cooking up a storm with a modern and relaxed feel. Guests can choose from the restaurant’s casual menu, including such classics as beer-battered fish & chips and free range chicken breast parma, while the á la carte menu has a range of delicious steak and pasta dishes, not to mention desserts to die for. Private dining rooms are available for groups of 8 – 30 guests. In addition, Brooks Restaurant and Bar offers great coffee and light snacks from 7:00am – 4:00pm.

We've just had our business conference at Brooklands and the Venue, Service, Food & Accommodation were faultless. Service was second to none and with a smile, nothing was too much trouble. The minute you enter the property it really feels like a home away from home, warm and welcoming. Will visit again for sure with family & might try the High/Afternoon Tea it looks sumptuous.

My husband, three boys and I decided to stay at Brooklands of Mornington during the Easter weekend. One of the reasons is because it had an indoor pool and spa and it was close to the main road. Before leaving, I checked the Special Offers page on their website and it says “BREAKFAST SPECIAL - Pay for one breakfast by 8pm on the evening prior and receive the second at half price.“ When I asked about this, the receptionist told me that it is no longer offered (even though it is still on their website today).
The hotel room was nice. There was a Queen size bed and 2 single beds. They were quite high so I place the children in the bigger bed and my husband and I took a single bed each.
The toilet had water leaking from the base every time we flushed, I advised the receptionist on the Saturday morning and was told that she can only mention it to housekeeping but nothing she can do about it.
There were tea and coffee in the rooms, a microwave and mini fridge. There was a door that opens up to a balcony which was also accessible by other rooms so it’s not private.
The gym was sufficient. Kids had fun in the pool. It was a nice stay. Would have preferred a bath in the bathroom as it only had a shower even though different websites say different facilities are available.
We paid for the continental breakfast which was in the dining hall. There wasn’t a lot of variety. If you paid extra for the hot food, it was not buffet but you just order a dish from the menu. We didn’t have breakfast there the next day, decided to go and eat at a café on the main road instead…see review of Café II5.
It was a pleasant stay but we have stayed in better places that didn’t cost as much. It was a convenient location, indoor pool was great especially with the wet, cold and windy weather outside and there was plenty of room in the accommodation itself.

Loved the surroundings . The hotel is %star and not 4 star as rated. King size bed, fabulous big bathroom. ground level rooms in amongst the gardens was so calming to walk through to your room. Loved the discount for seniors we will definately return to Brooklands

Our Club has enjoyed several dinner functions at Brooklands and it's simply a great space to run an event. The taste and presentation of the food is of a great standard. I'd be encouraging to hold an important event at Brooklands, confident it'll leave a good impression on my guests.

Stayed for a Saturday night with group of friends.Great to be able to stay one night as many places on Mornington Peninsula make 2 nights essential !!! Lovely new studio apartments, very spacious & reasonable price. Balcony view in the sun was a lovely way to catch up with friends.Great to have a lift for a double storey & a lovely disabled room with a park & ramp outside. Close to mornington restaurants, shops & cafes. Friends were impressed with Mornington so well done Brooklands.
