What can I say? It looked lovely on the website, but not so inviting on arrival.
First impressions: dank, dark, dusty and musty!
After booking what we hoped would be a romantic weekend away, we arrived to discover that the place had seemingly not been stayed in for a while (it certainly smelt like that) and had not had a good clean either. Dishes and glasses needed to be re-washed, there were human hairs (not ours!) on the couch, cobwebs in the bed and worst of all a bath&shower that ran muddy brown water and bugs that crawled out when the spa jets were turned on!
Needless to say, we checked out the next morning. Whilst the owner was apologetic, we were not offered a refund for this disappointing single night stay.
