Don't be naive about the term cellar door when you elect to eat in the cellar door area. We sampled the wines and ordered a bottle to drink with our food. When we sat at the table and ordered food it was quite delicious. We were however stunned when our bill arrived and the wine was $28 dearer than when we ordered it at the wine tasting area which was 3 metres from where we sat to eat. When we queried the price increase the manager said that we should have read the price on the food menu even though we had not been given a copy whilst in the wine tasting area. She then proceeded to tell us that the bistro wine prices were dearer than the wine cellar prices. We explained that we were eating in the cellar door area and not the bistro. With this she rudely and abruptly left. What a poor performance on her behalf and what a ridiculous explanation. Management needs to get their story right and read their own website.

The setting is quite elegant and I am sure the vistas from the windows were breath taking but that is where the WOW factor ended. A reservation was made for ten people and when we arrived the hostess said the reservation was only for six people that someone had called and changed the number of attendees. No one from our group had cancelled so they had to add additional tables to accommodate us but put the place setting over the legs so we had to straddle the legs to sit. The waitresses were very not attentive and when they did show up their attitude was less than enthusiastic. Our food was mediocre and the prices are very dear. It was a very expensive meal. I would not recommend and will not return.

A very elegant vineyard meal, more fine dining and really very nice. I had steak which was lovely - the dessert sharing plate was also a series of tasty treats... Service was attentive, but a little inexperienced for the level of dining - I had queries about the wine by the glass (wanted to try as many different as possible!) which were vaguely answered. Great setting - it was quite up crowded on the autumn Friday nite we went - why?! Such a gem!

Had a lovely lunch here with friends. You are surprised as soon as you walk through the heavy timbers doors as it opens to a beautiful valley vista.
Tasted some lovely wines, and enjoyed our Sunday roast dinner lunch in the bistro side. We thought this side was buzzing more anyway, and luckily there is no need to book.
Very enjoyable.

Our family and friends were blown away with the breathtaking views, high quality service, gourmet foods, and delicious wines. Would definitely recommend for weddings, dinning and wine tasting.
