Slipped up to Rutherglen for a quick two day break, and were greeted warmly by Charles and Chris. The suits comfortable and have everything needed for a relaxing stay in the region. Breakfasts were magnificent, and the advice on local wineries was appreciated.

We traveled without dogs, and I would readily recommend this lovely B&B to anyone, with or without pets.

I booked this property through AirBnB.

My wife and I along with our furry child Golden Retriever Bessie re visited Must Love Dogs recently. Charles and Chris are the consumate hosts, always up for a chat and just lovely people. They have a fascinating history in the hospitality business, be sure to check out their photo album. Charles and Chris can also answer all your questions regarding local places of interests, including the many excellent wineries. Make sure you have at least one dinner in house, Charles turns out amazing mains (try the mouth wateringly soft eye filet) and Chris is the dessert maestro, her deconstructed apple pie was divine! Not to mention the home baked treats including dog bikkies on arrival. We really appreciated the airconditioning on this trip due to the heat and when we've visited in winter the gas fireplace is great, Bessie loves laying in front of it. Do yourself a favour, if you're travelling in the area with a dog do not miss the opportunity to stop in at Must Love Dogs. We have stayed at many dog friendly places but Must Love Dogs is truly dog friendly. Keep up the great work Charles and Chris and see you again soon!

Just stayed two nights at "Must Love Dogs b&b", absolutely lovely stay. Summery 41 degrees outside but lovely and cool inside. Charming hosts, Chris and Charles. The bed was comfortable. Charles cooked us a magnificent English Breakfast day one then his traditional mouth watering pancakes day two. The dogs were welcomed with some treats on arrival. They had as much fun as us. Worn out exploring the local wineries so a quick dip in the pool took care of that. We will be back in winter for another visit. Thanks Chris and Charles.

Room Tip: Both rooms are nice, Chandelier suite bigger but both are big enough.

We stayed for 2 nights over the Australia Day weekend. Parent, Kids, Grandparents & furry friends all had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the welcoming hospitality of Chris, Charles and their three dogs. A lovely B&B made to feel like a home by its owners.

We stayed in Rutherglen for 2 nights for our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for better hosts than Chris and Charles. The room was terrific (particularly the super comfortable bed!) but the service was even better - Charles' cooked breakfast was incredible and not only did they give us tips for restaurants and wineries in the region, they also shared with us a lot of their life story! Which was great for us as a young married couple to hear their stories about their long happy marriage!

We don't have dogs but highly recommend staying here in any case and we will definitely be back next time we go to Rutherglen.

We had a great stay with Charles and Chris. We were travelling with a 9 week old pup - AyBee - who we had only had for 2 days. AyBee was in sensory overload and, well, there was AN INCIDENT! Water off a duck's back to Chris and Charles. They were unphased by the episode, very understanding and made us feel welcome even after said "incident". It is great to have dog-friendly facilities dotted around Australia but they don't come more dog-centric than Chris and Charles'. Can't recommend their establishment highly enough.
