8km from Warburton is this magical redwood forest. Planted in the 1930s, the redwood giants are breathtaking. After walking around in awe you should head down to the pretty Cement Creek. We visited as part of drive to Peninsula tunnels and Reservoir
DIRECTIONS: head towards the Little and Big Peninsula tunnels. On the left (easy to miss) you will see turn off for Currency Creek rd. You will drive down a dirt track over the Yarra.
TIP: make sure you park at gate on right hand side ( it will stand out). They is no real opportunities to turn around if miss. If you visit after rain it's easy to get bugged if you try and turn around if miss makeshift car park.
