Burgers made in the old fashioned way. Plain burger had and made with the right amount of lettuce and sauce, meat patty good well and the bun used was flat style and not too flowery. Overall a good burger rest of the menu look good as well.

Nice food, decent price. The staff are mostly rude and unfriendly. I don't think a 'grunt' is an appropriate greeting. But if you can get past the arrogant service, this is a decent place for fish and chips. Shame about the workers.

Sometimes we've bought chips from there and they've been really nice, and other times they taste kind of fishy and are greasy and limp. There seems to be a lack of consistency, which is a bit off putting as, if you're really hankering for some chips, you might not be happy with what you get on that particular day, leading to disappointment.

Hard to get good fish and chips in the Warburton Valley, but this place is quite OK. I had a lunch pack consisting of 1 fish bite, 2 potato cakes, minimum chips and a can of coke for less than $9, and I thought it made a perfectly acceptable (and cheap !) evening meal on the run.

The batter on the fish bite was fresh and soft, the fish itself was nice and fresh, the chips crisp without being too crunchy, and the potato cakes were quite satisfactory, without being great. Its the value of the pack that gets its the 4 stars.

Although I live in Warburton, I am sad to say that, as of May 2015, (things always change) my local shop is inferior to this one, so if you are driving through and wanting fish and chips, stop at Yarra Junction instead.

I was passing through late one evening and dropped in here for dinner. This place is not a sit down restaurant but a take away fish and chippery. What can I say ? They fry fish and chips. It's not bad as far as fish and chips goes. The staff are friendly and it was quite busy so I'm assuming it's quite popular with the locals. The highlight for me was the cinnamon sugar thoughtfully sprinkled on my banana fritter which was incidentally, wrapped separately so the sugar didn't get on the chips. A nice touch.
