“Great Hospitality”
Reviewed 10 August 2013

Hospitality was second to none when we arrived. Information about downtown Nashville was very forthcoming and a shuttlebus dropped us downtown and was there to pick us up again when we were ready to come back, althougth if after 11.00pm you then have to find a taxi to return you to hotel wonderful service. Breakfast was fine and suffice for our needs, plenty there and the coffee is yummy. Thanks Hampton Inn Suits, Vandebilt, Nashville:-)

The Hampton at Vanderbuilt has a great location and very nice accommodations. The excercise room could have had more equipment but there was a free hot breakfast, free parking, nice rooms, free wifi and papers. can not go wrong!

Our family was in town for both business and pleasure. This hotel was situated perfectly to fit our needs, a 5-10 minute drive to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, walking distance to many restaurants, and Centennial Park. We could view the Parthenon from our bedroom window. It is a short drive to Bicentennial Mall and the Nashville Farmer's Market.

We were greeted in a very friendly manner and to the wonderful scent of popcorn. The front desk staff was as welcoming as could be, and interested in us as people.

We were most impressed with our suite, one of the most spacious I have seen in awhile. This hotel is fairly new and the cleanliness and decor illustrate this.

The suite, as I said, was very spacious with a full kitchen, living area with workdesk, big bedroom, and very ample bathroom and dressing area. Toiletries were Hampton standard. Bedding Hampton standard. The bed was all right, although not amazing.

The hotel offers a pool, laundry, computer area, and of course, breakfast, which was delicious both mornings. They serve 6-10 which works for both business and leisure guests. Free parking which is always a plus.

Staff here is exceptional, helpful and accomodating in every way. I would like to give a special "atta girl" to a female breakfast worker who was especially gracious. A man spilled his coffee all over the place, on the table and running over into his chair and the floor. He did not even try to clean up one drop, just told the lady working. She was so nice to him. She was much more gracious than I would have been. He made a big mess and walked off. Just in case the mgt can congratulate her in some way, this happened on Tues, Aug. 6th and she had dark hair, very tanned complexion and very friendly. She really gives a great impression for Hampton.

We will definitely return here the next time we have business in the area.

Room Tip: Top floor is nice and quiet. Ask for a room on the side of the Parthenon if you would like to be abl...

This Hampton has a great location near Vanderbilt and various hospitals, Centennial Park and others in Nashville. It has an upscale atmosphere. It seemed a bit high priced for Hampton and the breakfast was just so so.

Great hotel and great service. The check in was excellent and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful with the questions I had asked. The only thing that could be better is the juice machine was not working for the breakfast. The staff did substitute with bottles of Apple juice and bottles of water so overall it was still a good breakfast. Would recommend this hotel anytime.

We are on a college road trip. We chose Hampton Inn because we trust the Hilton chain. The hotel is conveniently located a block from Vanderbilt University, which is the school we visited. Its just minutes from downtown and the Belmont Mansion. This hotel and the surrounding area is really clean.

Doesn't seem to matter where you go. A Hampton Inn is always a sure bet. This one was no different. The reception was warm and friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious, the beds clean and comfortable. The breakfast, included, was delicious since you could have pretty well anything you wanted and no one to rush you with an always smiling attendant.
The good mornings and 'How are you' seem to be the norm in Hampton Inns and I find that great and heart warming, whether it be genuine or not. At least there is a feeling of being welcomed.
In my mind, another great experience at a Hampton Inn

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking the pool. Quieter
