The whole apt was spacious and all the appliances new and everything we could think of was there.

We chose the Wyndham for our 3 night stay in Nashville due to the convenience of the kitchen and the size of the rooms and also it's location near to the Grand Ole Opry.

It did not disappoint on any of these areas!

As other reviewers have said, you do have to drive to get anywhere but this is true of many timeshare facilities in the US. Also, although you did have to drive, it was only minutes before being at restaurants, mini golf, gas station, Opryland etc.

My only small complaint was the lack of a small store/shop on the site, we arrived quite late on a Sunday and being able to buy some drinks, breakfast cereals etc on site would have been a great help.

For families this is a good place to stay and has the added bonus that Grayline and other tours will pick up at the resort.

Room Tip: we had a room near the pool which was handy but also noisy at night

We ended up at the Wyndham Nashville because we needed to use a banked RCI week and this was the only place that fit our schedule and was available. We weren't drawn to Nashville in particular. But the wonderful resort, good service and amenities turned our trip into a relaxing vacation nonetheless. Our boys were thrilled to have their own cable TV in their room, and a pool practically right out back. My wife enjoyed being able to sleep in; the king bed was very comfortable.
Staff was very courteous and responded promptly when we had needs or questions. People who groused about towel exchange? You weren't listening at check-in, or you must've missed the courtesy call to remind you. We got towels mid-week, and laundry soap and kitchen trash bags within an hour of calling. No, it's not a hotel; don't expect maid service daily. It's a timeshare, and that means you have to handle a few things yourself!
Just a couple of minor quibbles kept this from an 'excellent' - as someone else mentioned, there were ants. Not lots of them, but enough to prompt a call to housekeeping. Despite having someone come in and spray, the ants came back within a couple of days. They were never a real nuisance, though. The free wi-fi is indeed free, but the connection is not always stable, nor is it very fast. Don't expect to stream Netflix on your laptop here. But it IS free, which is nice, and doesn't leave much room for grousing about the connection. Finally, there's the awkwardness of the kitchen cabinets. I'm not tall, and trying to stretch to reach dishes and glasses proved impossible. My wife admitted to sitting on the counter in order to reach things. The kitchens look nice, but aren't super functional. The flat-panel cooktop can be dangerous for young kids, too; the light may show that the cooktop is hot, but won't say which 'burner' it is. If you plan on eating most meals out, this won't be much of an issue.
Recommendations: Skip the $1.99 DVD rental in the Activity Center, and run over to the RedBox at the nearby McDonald's and get movies for 99 cents. Eat a meal at the Caney Fork River Grille - free corn fritters! And, though she's a sweet lady, don't waste your time going to the Joanne Cash Yates show. She has a couple of stories to tell about Johnny, but the rest is bad singing to canned music. There are too many real musicians with good voices to waste an hour with her, even if it's free.

We had a great experience but outside of what little there is right around the resort you have to drive a bit. Everything we did was wonderful but we did have to drive. Great clean, friendly, family place!!

We were offered a fourth floor room in a building with no elevator or a ground level room next to pool 3. There were absolutely no other units available we were told at 4:30PM when we checked in. Unfortunately, we chose the unit next to the pool.

From 10:30AM until quiet time at 11PM the noise was uncontrolled noise by groups of young teens was unabated. Sometimes it was the staff running cookouts and blasting music, sometimes it was staff organizing pool basketball tournaments, sometimes it was herds of teens running or hanging out on the stairs.

We tried turning down the stereo volume at the pool ourselves, but before we got back to the room, the staff had turned it back up. We called the desk each time, left messages. Little response.

The organized chaos, and management tolerance of teens gone wild made the unit basically unusable for more than 12 hrs a day.

We traded our timshare in Gatlinburg for a week at the Wyndham Nashville on McGavock Pike. It's been a great place to stay this week. It is located directly beside the Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills. There are restaurants surrounding it making it very handy for us. (You know what they say, "Location, location, location!".)

The resort accomodations are beautiful. We are in a two bedroom condo that couldn't be nicer. They have two outdoor pools and one indoor pool that our kids have loved. There is a really nice fitness center, activity center, and childrens' playground. The staff plans activities for all ages everyday. Today I noticed hoola hoop contests by one of the pools. The staff members have been extremely helpful. This is a resort we would definitely consider coming to again.

We were guests of an "owner" at this (timeshare) condo for several days. The suites are very nice and clean, and have everything you need and then some, including granite counters, tile floors - some nice homey touches that felt like a real treat on vacation. The service from the staff at teh Wyndham was exceptional. My only regret was the noise level at the outdoor pools (there are 2), but there is not much the owners can do about guests who yell. A lot. Anyway, very close to the Grand Ole Opry, Willie Nelson's, Cooter's, and the Will-Open-Again-Soon (enormous!) Opryland mall, the Wyndham was a nice place to stay.
