“Good - But Not Great”
Reviewed 3 April 2014

First, my disclaimer...we stayed at this resort as guests of friends who have a Wyndham timeshare. So, we didn't really pay much at all.

The Good: The property was very nice. Well maintained. Our room was great. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Check in was actually pretty simple...and we were able to check in about 30 minutes early. We did have a soft timeshare sell as we were picking up our parking pass, but nothing major. Location is great. Literally a mile from the Grand Ole Opry & Opry Mills Mall. Pretty close to downtown Nashville & Music Row. Easy to get to. We had a balcony that overlook a courtyard that joined several units. Beautiful. Property was pretty quiet overall. Not a lot of "night owls" out making noise late at night.

The Bad: Not at all soundproof. We were on the 3rd floor, and anytime anyone walked around in the unit above us, it was LOUD. When someone was out in the courtyard talking...you could hear it, even if the balcony doors were closed. There was a couple staying in the building next to ours, that enjoyed practicing their guitar/violin "act" on their balcony during the day...we could hear it in our room...even with all door/windows closed. If you were out late at all (like after 9pm), parking was a problem. By the time you got back...it was next to impossible to find a spot. Honestly, the absolute worst part though...was the wifi. I know that seems small...but if you spent any time at all in the room, and wanted to get on the internet, it was impossible. I've never actually stayed at a place that has worse internet.

The bottom line...it was a nice property, and considering it was free...it was fine. However, had we been paying for it, I wouldn't have been happy. If you plan to stay here, first of all, confirm that you have a top floor unit. Second, if you're planning to spend any time in the room at all...and want to have internet access....bring your own "hotspot."

The girls and I headed to Orlando for spring break and stopped over night at the Wyndham Nashville property. Being a Wyndham owner I like checking out other resorts in the Wyndham family. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and loved it. The bedding was great and the suite was clean as a whistle! It was a nice place to stay. We will be going back in June!

We've come to expect great things from Wyndham properties, and we were not disappointed in Nashville.

We reserved a two-bedroom deluxe for myself, my wife, our 10 year old son, and my wife's parent's. You could say my mother-in-law is in the 'mother-in-law' suite. Haha. Moving on....

The grounds are well maintained, and contained hedges shaped like music symbols. Strangely enough, the treble clef looks as if it is squatting in the woods, but I digress.

Check-in was quick and easy, even during the busy check-in time of early afternoon. The friendly and courteous staff got us into our unit right away.

The two-bedroom deluxe consists of two one-bedroom suites, one standard, one deluxe. The units are locked off from one another if you wish. Our particular room was handicapped accessible (for my father-in-law), so there were certain things that were a tad different - such as the ground-level shower in both suites, and counter-tops and vanities that are slightly lower to accommodate a wheelchair.

Our unit also had a nice balcony overlooking the overflow parking lot.

I definitely recommend this property to anyone seeking extended lodging in Nashville.

Room Tip: We were in Building 25. It was very convenient.

Just stayed here last week. We were very very pleased when we checked in and found a super clean room. This is located about two minutes (literally) from the Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills and 10-12 minutes from downtown Nashville. I would highly recommend staying here.

The room was very spacious, had a huge jetted tub and the bed was awesome. We slept as good or better than we do at home. It was a little bit cold for the outdoor pool and the indoor pool was a little cold too.

We did take the sales pitch (we're not Wyndham owners) because they were offering a free week stay. It was pretty typical of a timeshare pitch and lasted about three hours. They will tell you it will only be 90 minutes. If you want to buy or are interested in a free week we thought it was worth it even though they did make a hard sell.

We felt the Wyndham Nashville was the best of thirty year timeshare experience, second only to Hawaii. Clean, like new, beautiful accomodations, convenient, transportation available, and GREAT customer service. BBQ's, pools, walking area, and more. Great for retired, kids and everyone inbetween. We were able to enjoy at least three activities or tours per day and already planning to return. Texan

We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem located just down the street from the Opryland hotel. We make several weekend trips to Nashville each year and wanted to find something not located directly downtown. The resort's location was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. It was well appointed and comfortable, having all the amenities of home. Check in staff were pleasant and helpful and the property offers a lot of activities including nightly entertainment for free or at reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants something more than just a hotel at a great price.

This was a great stopping place on our trip throughout the south. We had a one bedroom unit and it was clean and spacious. It also had a washer and dryer which we needed. The concierge service was very helpful and booked us into a dinner show which we enjoyed. The location is near Opryland which was nice. It is about 20 minutes from downtown but there is a shuttle provided by the hotel for a fee. Be aware that this is also a timeshare development so you will have to deal with that during your stay (either do the visit or say no, it wasn't high pressure.) I definitely recommend this hotel.
