We have stayed at the Wyndham in the past and was always happy with the resorts. The Wyndham in Nashville was filthy!!! Upon entering the room, it smelled of garbage! The kitchen cabinet had garbage in it. I complained and after two different housekeeping staff being sent to our unit to clean the unit, it was still very dirty. There was glass chards on the living carpet that was not even vacuumed after the prior guests had left. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT!

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. We are disappointed to hear that we did not meet your expectations, as this is not part of the Count On Me service we take pride in. We know that while on vacation it is imperative that our guests are treated well and that their expectation are met. I assure you that I will be taking the necessary actions so this is addressed. Again, thanks for taking the time to reach out.

We stayed here 3 nights in June for a family visit with grandkids. If you are visiting Opryland, it is a convenient location. The property is attractive, clean "enough", and fairly quiet. Our problem, similar to several others, is that we were hounded with super friendly staff wanting to come to our room and wanting us to come to the lobby for sales pitches. We really felt like we could not relax and enjoy family for the phone ringing with high pressure sales tactics. The interior of the condo was nice and had everything we needed, the exterior (stairways, outside door entry) really needed to be power washed - looked like weeks worth of dirt. We also fell for the "welcome party" which we thought was going to be entertainment and found it to be half entertainment and half sales pitches for tours and shows. The highlight of the stay was attending the "Tribute to the King" show at the Texas Troubador Theater, about 1/2 mile from the resort.

We stayed at the Wyndham Nashville last week for 3 nights. I have never been lied to by so many different people in such a short period of time on a vacation. Upon check in we were given an invitation to a "Welcome Party" by the Concierge. They promised music, games and giveaways. It sounded like a nice way to meet other guests, dance and have some lite fare. What it turned out to be was a sales pitch for all of their tours. No food, no drink and a band that was pretty terrible. We just sat there for almost 3 hours listening to various sales pitches. Why? Because they provided a complimentary shuttle to the party that would not pick us up until it was over. I felt like a prisoner. The next day we went to the "Owners Meeting" which promised a gourmet breakfast. They told us to be there 15 minutes early, but didn't start until 30 minutes later! So we sat in the lobby for 45 minutes. The "gourmet breakfast" was a chow line of 2 pancakes and a sausage patty (cold). The presenters name was Chris. He told us that we could get a discount All Access Pass for $40 if we went to the Wyndham Visitors Center on 4th street (it was 5th). There was no Wyndham rep at the Visitors Center and the cost was the regular $60. I'd written down everything he said when he said it, so I know what he said. But, when I called him on it...he lied and said he hadn't said it. The funny thing is, I also called the front desk clerk and she told me that she'd JUST sent someone else down to the Visitors Center to get the non-existent discounted tickets. Also, as an owner, I wanted to get the Wyndham rewards Visa. During his presentation, good old Chris clearly stated that I could only apply for the Visa on site. I then wasted another hour with 3 very pushy salespeople to get a card that I could have applied for online in 30 seconds and gotten a better deal on. The pushy Salesperson also lied when she tried to tell me that I could only use the card towards my maintenance fees if I bought points from them that day. Really!? I finally walked out and will be cancelling the card as soon as it arrives in the mail.
Overall, all of the deception spoiled what should have been a nice, relaxing vacation. The rooms were nice, but nothing special. Be warned- the outside lights don't turn out and each night when we opened the front door mosquitoes swarmed into the unit. We were eaten alive every night. I will not be coming back to this resort.

Overall this was a nice place to stay, the decor was a bit dated but it was very clean and the staff couldn't have done more to help us. We were given coupons to attractions, directions and recommendations. The location is great if you want to focus on the Grand Ole Opry and shopping at the Opry Mills mall. It is a bit of a drive (20 minutes) from downtown Nashville.
Pluses: loads of space, good sofa bed, well stocked kitchen, very helpful staff
Minus: annoying sales pitches

Stayed at this resort in June 2014. Was not really impressed by this resort. Had problems the first night we arrived. Had to get all new bedding because the ones that were on when we arrived were dirty. There was hair and stains on all layers of the bedding. Had to call a couple of times to get the correct bedding. On several occasions the towels at the pool were not available. Outside bins were full of dirty towels poolside. Went into the lobby one evening and the floor had popcorn all over it. Trash cans were overflowing with trash. Workout room is too small. Not enough room for five people to workout at one time. Never seen housekeeping our entire stay. The facility itself is decent. The management does not seem to be properly taking care of the daily maintenance. Lots of noise coming from the rooms upstairs

My sister and I stayed at Wyndham Nashville through RCI timeshare week of June 20. It perfectly suited our needs. It was about 10-15 mts from the action downtown but the shuttle service at the condo was economical and efficient. Ran downtown every hour on the hour... and returned from downtown every half hour on the half hour.... $10 per person roundtrip.... we had planned to rent a car but changed our minds, not wanting to worry about drinking and driving. Honestly - parking would have been a nightmare, anyway! The grounds are beautifully kept.... condo was spacious and well maintained.... location is totally peaceful and beautiful for mornings on the balcony drinking coffee. The folks at the concierge desk are awesome!!!! They advised on tours and shows and set everything up for us. Will definitely be returning.

Check in at Wyndham Nashville to smiles and country music. As you get your parking pass you will be invited to the Welcome show at the Texas Troubador Theatre held every Sunday evening. This is a real treat. There is a country band to entertain and a resort staff that is entertaining. During the 90 minute presentation you will be introduced to many of the activities at the resort and to many of the service the concierge desk can connect you with to make your visit to Nashville exciting and enjoyable. While you can drive to any of the popular places, parking can be a problem, so it is really easier and more efficient to take a tour bus. These are arranged easily at the concierge desk. There is a full schedule of activities at the resort, so don't miss out on getting to know the staff. One of the really nice things at the Nashville resort is the availability of many shows at really reasonable prices. This is a place to be busy or relax, your choice. It is located a few miles from downtown, but just across the street from the Grand Ole Opry. Plan on lots of fun visiting Wyndham Nashville!
