This place was the best. To be able to expose your kids to science in a fun way that takes hours is pure genius. The 4 year old was asking to go back the next morning.

They have plenty of hands-on activities that the kids can actually learn how things work while having a ball.

The cost of entry is very reasonable for this gem. The museum had really fun and informative exhibits that were appropriate for kids and adults, too. We spent hours in here with our niece and nephew, 6 & 7 years old.

There's an excellent view of the Nashville skyline from the top of the adventure tower. :)

4 stars only because not all of the exhibits were working. That was sad since we missed out on some fun looking activities.

This was our first visit to Adventure Science Center and it was definitely one of the best science centers we have been to. Due to our membership at a local science center, we are members of The Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC), which allowed us to get into the center for free. If you are not aware of this program, it is a great value for families, especially if you travel.

The Center had many different aspects for the kids to explore. The Body Quest area shows how your body works by allowing you to explore areas such as the blood stream, bowels, heart, brain, etc. through fun activities. There was a shooter game within body quest that allowed you raise and lower your body temperature (pathogens vs. parasites) to a normal level. Really neat. They had a space area that allowed you to go on a star walk, or experience moonwalking (all included in the cost of admission). The middle of the center had a three story structure that included slides, nets, and other hands-on exhibits. The planetarium, laser shows, and bluemax were all additional costs, so we didn't experience those. Overall, it was a great museum and we will definitely be back!

I want to say upfront, that we are spoiled by our Science Center...which is why I gave it three stars.

However, this place is a dream for little kids with lots of things to see, touch, and play with. We stumbled upon a retired teacher lecturing about the solar system, which was nice and we stayed for the movie they were playing.

We had this is part of a package offered by the Nashville Tourism. Plenty stuff to do including plenty of games for the children. Very educational and very up-to-date. We opted to get the movie as well to get the movie in planetarium that was amazing!
