The Hermitage Hotel

Certificate of Excellence

We stayed at the Hermitage recently for two nights while visiting Nashville. You are immediately taken by the beautiful elegant lobby. We were greeted by extremely friendly and welcoming front desk staff. The room was light, clean and very nice. The guest floor hallways were also very nice and bright (often overlooked in many historic hotels). The room and property overall was immaculately maintained and extremely clean. The location is perfect in the city center and very close (but not too close) to the music and nightlife of Broadway. The only negative is that the nightly rate is no bargain. You pay for this level of service and elegance of the property. Wish they had packages that made it more affordable to stay more frequently and for longer periods. Overall, this is a world class hotel in a fantastic city!

The Hermitage was a truly outstanding hotel experience. It defines hotel elegance from decor to service. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay one of the best we have had in a long time. Little touches like fresh muffins and a coffee bar in the lobby in the morning and free waters not only in our rooms but as we left in the hotel makes this a memorable experience. Remembering our names at the restaurant and even when retrieving our car. We had our teenage kids with us and they never wanted to leave. The rooms were large, bathrooms beyond our expectations in size and amenities and the view of the square below were added bonuses. Definitely worth a visit into the space even if you can't stay there.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the square.

This hotel is everything it claims to be. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are large and clean. Everything at this hotel is wonderful! It is also walking distance to everything you would want to do in downtown Nashville.

It is a very elegant hotel. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The staff is very attentive. They have a wonderful restaurant downstairs. We were able to walk downtown, as it is only 4 short blocks away.

I had the privilege of staying at this glorious hotel a few months ago. Once you are there, you will not want to leave. The rooms are very exquisite and the staff is very friendly and professional. It is within a few walking blocks from the sites of Nashville. The corridor was nicely decorated with antique furniture and decor. I will definitely be back again. The doormen always greeted me with a smile and was always ready to help me with suggestions and advice.

When our friend held her wedding reception at The Hermitage, we selected this hotel for our stay as it is a sister hotel to one of our favorite hotels, Keswick Hall. The Hermitage valet staff are fantastic...and we felt the hotel was just lovely when we walked in. The concierge helped me with a nail appointment at a local nail salon on a very short notice. We thoroughly enjoyed our lovely room. One thing that was impressive was the different pillow choices they made available in our room (very nice touch). We enjoyed the breakfast dining at the hotel and the waiters were great! At night, the same restaurant just had an overpowering fish smell. The bar experience was the only real let down for us on two occassions. There were four young female bar staff who just seemed very disorganized, and it took forever for us to get a drink. The young female bartender had no knowledge when it came to a question about wines on the bar menu. I would recommend more seasoned and experienced bar staff for a hotel of this quality.Otherwise, the hotel experience is worth it.

I love the Hermitage - it is absolutely beautiful, with loads of style and class! Visited there in February on business and was so impressed. The front desk staff was friendly and the bag porters were swift and efficient.

My room was lovely but the best part is all the little extra details. From classical music playing in your room as you enter to the little chocolates left by the bedside at night, the attention to detail is impressive. I also enjoyed the spacious bathroom - a huge soaking tub AND a walk in shower - awesome!
