Arrived @ 11:30pm. Would not honor our reservation. Ran out of rooms. Desk clerk very rude. They finally found a room for us at another Days Inn across town, but I found out later that they charged us more than the lowest on-line price. That just added insult to injury. No rooms, and then gouge us for an extra $15 to 'help' us find another room.
Yikes! Stay away!
My girlfriend and I stayed here for the CMA fest as it was the only hotel that was available. The location is great and it is close to everything that you need for the CMA fest. That is about the only positive thing I can say about the hotel. The female clerk/owner is extremely rude and not at all helpful. When we checked in to our first room, the toilet was clogged. It took us three phone calls to the front desk and over an hour for someone to finally come to the room. On the third call we said we had been waiting over an hour and her response was "I doubt you have been waiting that long." Excellent customer service there. Finally they couldn't find a solution to the problem so they moved us into another room, which luckily was a tad better than the last. The Sheets are all stained, not all the lights work and the bathroom was meh. We also had to call for extra TP and towels and when you call to request these you are told to go get them from the front desk, they dont even send someone to do it. Oh and then the lovely woman is so nice she gives you ONE toilet paper roll and ONE towel. GEE thanks. Very helpful.
At check out I asked for a receipt and Mrs. Sunshine at the desk told me their printer wasn't working and I should have had a receipt from check-in anyways. Well thank you Mrs. Obvious but I'm asking for a new receipt. Someone remove this woman from being at the front line with customers because she is AWFUL.
The staff were the only bright spot of our stay.
The first night's room was what I expected, the second how ever was truly a disaster. 1st, the reserved room was not avalable. 2nd, the only accommodations that were offered to us was in a shambles. The cloths rack was riped from the wall and resting on the floor. There were probles with the lighting and issues with the TV. While sitting on the sun deck the chair I sat in collapsed causing injury to my right elbo. To say it is not one of our better stays really is a understatement.
This hotel doesn't even deserve one star. I have stayed at Days Inns before. This is BY FAR the WORST hotel/motel I have EVER stayed at. It started with our drive to the hotel, which showed us it was in a terrible part of Nashville. It just got worse at check in. My friend had made the reservations on Priceline and the guy at the desk wanted to charge us an extra $100 because there were 4 of us. I was not happy, and I expressed my displeasure. The guy behind the desk accused me of being disrespectful and lying, and threatened to cancel our reservation entirely. He also claimed he was trying to be helpful, which he wasn't. At all.
We then get to our room and we find the most disgusting room I have ever seen. There was gaps all around the door that you could see through from the outside. The gap under the door was a good inch; how you keep water out when it rains is beyond me. The gap on the side was a good half inch and you could easily see in and out. And it just got worse from there. There was a light missing from the bathroom and the fixture was covered in dust. The light stand between the beds was missing its drawer. There were cut wires that were wrapped with electrical tape, which was falling off. The light over the sink was covered with dead bugs. There was no way we were staying there.
My friend tried to cancel the reservation but Priceline wouldn't let her. They did give us what they call a "suite". This included a microwave, mini fridge, and a pull out couch. This room had gum on the walls and floor. Stains on the wall that looked like something had been spilled. And a door behind the couch that led to the room next door. This door was unlocked. My buddy had to use all his strength to get the door to lock. There was a musty smell in the room and at first we couldn't figure out why, After letting the AC run all night we figured out the issue. The AC leaked inside the room and out. The entire floor within a 4 foot radius of the AC was soaking wet the entire time we stayed there. Also, the wi-fi signal didn't reach our room. If we wanted to use the Wi-Fi we had to step outside.
I could not believe how absolutely disgusting this hotel was. How someone can run this place and think it is in acceptable conditions is beyond me. Stay anywhere else!!
