“OK hotel, excellent staff”
Reviewed 8 March 2014

The people who run this hotel are super nice and accommodating. The hotel room was OK. I couldn't get the heat setting right and there was a dinging noise in the bathroom vent and the shower handle came off in my hand who I turned it. But the bar was great, weekend breakfast was very good and the servers and staff were great.

The Indigo hotel is very well located right downtown, close to restaurants, bars and music. We had room 313 the parking lot was outside our window with cars coming and going all night.Room was small and cramped for $275 per night this was not what I expected.Breakfast was just ok more in the line of diner.Lobby bar at night was pretty good live music.Over all this hotel is way too expensive for what you get. This was our first time to Nashville we will know better next time

Room Tip: please don't take room 313 it's a nightmare.

Compared to what I pay today in Cool Springs Franklin this one was far to expensive. The location was good, walking distance from the center, but Nashville isn't that big so where ever you might stay it will all be close to the center. The city surprised me, music everywhere. I truly is the city of music. It didn't matter whether you enter a pub in the morning or evening, Live music is the standard. This was true for the hotel as well. At the evening of arrival I was welcomed with live music in the lobby. I the hotel could drop the price it would have scored higher on my list.

This is not a typical chain hotel - go to the Hilton or Hampton or Doubletree all downtown if you need that. This is in an old historic building. Not much of a lobby but ok restaurant and small bar.
Rooms are very large, very comfortable, great wi-fi. You can walk to City Hall, Broadway, Ryman very easily. Not that easy to catch a cab so call downstairs plenty early if you need one to get to the airport. Limited room service. Walk down the street to Provence bakery for some real coffee and pastries. Lots of restaurants nearby. Overall, a very nice place, enough off the beaten path to be quiet but still close to what you want downtown. Note to women travelling alone: the area is reasonably safe but the hotel is in an out of the way corner so heads up if you plan to walk out and about alone. I've stayed here two or three times over the past year and really appreciate the location. Service is good. But big room and wifi are what bring me back.

Room Tip: Corner room on a high floor will get you a nice view.

Greetings RockingRobin787 thank you for the wonderful review! I will have to agree with you, the history of our hotel is so cool. Our hotel consists of two historic bank buildings that were joined together. A fun fact, our housekeeping department even works out of the old vaults! Cant wait to see you next time! Safe travels, Kim

My friends and I went to Nashville for my first time and had a really amazing trip. The Hotel Indigo is in a great location so we could walk to all the restaurants and bars so we didn't need to worry about cabs or driving. The hotel itself was also nicely renovated with a fun and lively atmosphere. We started one night at the hotel bar as well and were not disappointed. We'll definitely be staying there again when we go back!

My wife booked me a night here for a special weekend with my brother. At $309/night, it was very expensive. We booked direct. We got here, requested two queen beds. We were told "no can do." Drunk people all over the lobby. Police trying to control them. For $300/night we got cramped king bed with no view but a parking garage. They couldn't do anything to help us. This hotel was expensive, cramped, out of control and a real disappointment. They do a great job at getting Tripadvisor reviews. But, for me, a bad experience.

Room Tip: Nothing below floor 5.

Hotel Indigo is located just steps from Printer’s Alley and 2nd Ave where you can find some great restaurants and bars. It’s also about an eight minute walk to the Bridgestone Arena and the center of Broadway. We stayed here for a single night while in town to see a concert. At arrival, you are able to self park or valet park your vehicle. As always in Nashville, it’s around $20 to park your car overnight.

The lobby of the hotel has a neat and modern/retro look to it. If you’re looking for a place to eat when you arrive, you’re able to get a bite to eat at the restaurant that located in the hotel. The valet driver was extremely helpful in helping us pick out a good place to eat for the evening. Also, the evening receptionist was a life saver for my wife by letting my wife use some of her personal contact solution because she had forgotten hers. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience.

Our room was up to date on its décor and it was very clean. We found the bed to be extremely comfy and we got a great nights rest! The room had free wifi and a Keurig coffee machine was also in the room! If you opened the curtains there wasn’t much of a view from our room but that was a big deal. Something that was very nice was the size of the bathroom. Both my wife and I had plenty of room to get ready with out being in each others way.

We would highly suggest Hotel Indigo for a great nights rest in the middle of downtown Nashville!
