“no sleep.”
Reviewed 25 March 2012

Housekeeping goes around at 9am on Sunday banging on every door three times and yelling "HOUSEKEEPING!" until someone just happens to not be asleep. Kind of bothersome if you've had a late night, perhaps at a certain nearby concert venue?
Also the pool is right in the middle of all the rooms. Fine if you have kids who yell from 10am until 10pm but probably not the best place for you if you wanted a good night sleep or the opportunity to sleep in.

Room Tip: if you want to sleep ask for a room that is not anywhere near the pool.

I stayed here 3 nights for a conference. Compared to the Gaylord Opryland hotel which is a quarter mile down the road, this hotel was $50 cheaper per night and had free wireless.

The room is renovated, spacious and has a desk and other chair and end table, making it easy to do work in the hotel. The wireless network was reliable and reasonably fast.

While the initial room I was assigned had not been cleaned (at 4 p.m. on the day I arrived)--this was a first for me--they quickly gave me a new room. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was great and the room was clean with a comfortable bed.

My room happened to be an exterior room. The only minor complaint is that the door didn't seal really well and so there was some outside noise, but nothing too major. If this might be a concern, see about an interior room. The indoor pool was nice. Though the fitness room was a bit small (2 treadmills and 2 ellipticals), it was sufficient.

Room Tip: Exterior rooms have natural light which is nice. If you are a light sleeper, the street noise could...

The room was great and the staff more than helpful. We went to the Grand Ole Opry and were even able to get our tickets at the hotel instead of waiting in the long line at will-call. Beautiful indoor swimming pool. Don't miss the Backstage Grill at the hotel. The food is quite good, reasonablly priced, and singing servers. Rooms with "sleep Number" beds are available. This is a good way to try tthem out. I'm so glad that I didn't purchase one like I planned.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with an interior corridor. We had an outdoor corridor and it was a bit noisy.

We stayed at this hotel in January 2012 and the reception we received was fantastic, from the initial welcome at the front desk we new that the staff try to make all their guests feel "Special" , they could not do enough and even advised on the best and nicest places to visit, and even told us the best places to eat and call for a drink.

Room Tip: They are all great you will love this hotel

Stayed at Radisson for 3 nights in Febuary. Extremely clean and nicely updated! Enough can't be said about the staff, definitely made you feel at home, great restaurant on site.Sleep number beds are great as long as you know how to set them. A little disapointed with channel selection on tv not much to choose from seemed like only a dozen channels, other than that great hotel would definitely stay again!!

I stayed at the Radisson for the second time while attending a convention at the Opryland Convention center. The rooms are nice, but the staff is amazing (ridiculously friendly and helpful). I wanted to take them home with me! I called whenever I needed and shuttle, and they were always right there. The food, service and atmosphere at the Back Stage Grill is great, even in the middle of the day the servers also sing on the stage. Also, the service of accepting FedEx packages at no charge for guests is a great plus for me. Wireless Internet throughout the hotel is another great service Yes, I was disappointed for a minute that the pool again was not working, and the outdoor corridors for some of the rooms is not good for going swimming. So, if you plan to swim, request an inside room. This is such a friendly and welcoming hotel, that I will gladly return again.

Room Tip: Request an inside room, especially if you plan to use the pool.
