For a marriott property very disappointing. Noise level
Of the outside rooms are so so loud. Buses, taxis and cars up and down the highway all the time.
The idling of the shuttles is terrible. The loud in door ac unit is annoying.
Getting in the bathroom is ridiculous. Have to open door into bathroom to step over toilet then you close the door.
The workers are very nice and helpful with things to do or get to in area
But for the price and it being a marriott property all I can say is disappointing

High humidity made the room smell worse than a gym locker and carpet in the room turned your feet black. Had to choose between freezing in order to mellow the stink or almost un breathable dank smell. Ended up buying a bottle of fabrez and 5 pounds of kitty litter to absorb some of the smell. Entertainment at the grill was good but service sucked. Food was good.

The staff was courteous, fairly friendly. It is a well kept facility. Two items that annoyed us: our room had the smallest tub/toilet room I have EVER seen in a hotel. The Inn should be embarrassed to offer this to customers. Borderline dangerous in a wet area. You had to straddle the toilet to open the door to exit. Poor design. Second, and not as important, our coffeepot was broken, we requested a replacement. It also didn't work. So no "free" coffee in our room in Nashville. Hotel is nice and close to Opryland, and offered free shuttle to the Opry.

Most of the rooms in this hotel are accessed via an outside balcony. Those next to the street can be very noisy! Ask for an interior room. We asked to have our first room changed for an interior room and was told there were none available. The A/C in the second room we were given was not working and back to the front desk. We spoke with the manager who was very accommodating and located an interior room for us. The hotel has convenient free shuttle service to Opryland and the Grand Old Opry that runs on the half hour. Don't miss the barbecue at the Backstage Grill at the Inn .... outstanding!!

Room Tip: Ask for an interior room. The outside rooms can be noisy ... traffic.

Ok ill start by saying the rooms are fine, comfy and clean. Bathrooms a bit small but not a big deal.

The room I had was an inside facing atrium room on the front side. However this did nothing to hide the noise from the pool and the atrium. It was awful.. From the clanking dishes of a banquet or something being set up to the screaming children and teens, it was far from a relaxing stay.

Service at front desk was also nothing to write home about. At Check in I requested information that my company said would be available to us at check in. The clerk looked at me like I was crazy and was not helpful at all.

Overall it's a very loud place to stay with poor customer service and I hope not to stay again.
