This was a one night stay. Spacious, clean room. Comfortable bed. Clean hallways. Spacious public / breakfast area. I'm not accustomed to paying so much for a mid-scale hotel, and had the experience not been as unexpectedly positive, I would not have hesitated to give a low rating for that fact only. We did not sample the morning breakfast offerings, opting, instead, for the chain breakfast venue across the street.
The hotel is in a good location for access to interstate and downtown. Getting to it and getting back on the road may be the only inconvenient thing about the location. Yes, interstate 40 is scant yards from the north side of the facility. There might be highway noise in those rooms; I cannot say since my room was on the opposite side of the building. Another in our group reported no problems.
The management considers early September to be high season. On Friday night in early September they were perhaps half full. No problems with the stay. However, if I'd had time to do more research, I would have sought a less expensive option. The stay did not merit a $189.00 bill for single occupancy for one night (with nothing going on in Nashville).More
