“Quick bits”

Nice place to try international fast food, prices on some of the food can be pricey.
There is also a flea market in the complex.

“Great Place to Hang Out for Awhile”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 March 2014

This is an indoor Farmer's Market with a lot of food stands, fresh foods and goods for sale. One can easily spend several hours in here and not get bored. If you take the Red Trolley this is one of the stops on it. You could get off here, spend some time looking around and then head over to the Parthenon. Lots of things to see, eat and buy. Check it out!

“One Of The Best, Open 362 Days, On Rosa Parks Blvd. Near I-65”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 March 2014

This is not the "purist's" form of a farmer's market but will still enjoy it for what it is. What it offers is a variety of vendors selling produce, dry beans and grains, spices, relishes, sauces, baked goods, Amish goods, meats, popcorn, chess pies plus an imported goods grocery, a garden/nursery store, craft booths and a wide array of restaurants including one of the best pizzas in the area, Jamaican food, Cajun, Mexican a great coffee/drink booth and more. Of course more local produce offered in season but still a great place to go year round. More vendors on the weekends especially Saturdays. The buildings are unique in that the end ones open up as weather permits. The only drawback is the parking area can get full at times.

“Variety without the crowds”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 January 2014 via mobile

I visited the farmers' market on Sunday around 11am. The market is separated into three sections: "I grow it" produce and bacon, restaurants and the flea market. The market was only filled with about a third of the vendors it could occupy. The produce was fresh. We ate at the Mexican restaurant which served freshly made omlettes with eggs, ham/chorizo/bacon, peppers, onions, home fries and toast. I had an omelette, queso, chips and a fountain soda for just over $11. I couldn't come close to eating it all but it was good! The flea had a or of random vendors. The only cool vendor, in my opinion, was the pottery guy. He was really nice and had lots of offerings. All in all it was good. The only things missing were a meat and a cheese vendor.

“Great produce -- even during the week”

Cruised through the market and were very impressed with the produce offered even during the week. Weekends the market must be jammed and more options. Great place
