We went for the American Pickers store but it is mostly a souvenir shop. The building houses a coffee house and a few artisan shops. The art gallery across the street is phenomenal.

This was something my husband/daughter wanted to visit since they watch Nashville Pickers on television. The "famous" folks weren't there, but it was an interesting quick visit. And they bought a t-shirt and took pictures. There's several places to go in/out here, parking is good in a field across the way. It's nothing I'd break my neck to do, things were expensive, but we can say: been there, done that.

First of all, their is no seating. You have to stand and it is really hard to see. The sound system was terrible and the lighting was weak. It was a charity fundraiser by EmmyLou and we left early after about five songs.

We wanted to visit the home site of "American Pickers". Couldn't buy a tee shirt with that name as the History channel has a copyright (their tee shirts say antique archeology ?) but it was interesting to wander through their shop. We were pleasantly surprised to realize it was in the old factory warehouse for Marathon automobiles (I had never heard of them). They have many posters and large pictures on the wall of the factory, which you can wander at will and read at your leisure. Across the street is a building that has some of the old cars that were assembled there.
Next door to the American Pickers shop is a little restaurant call (I believe) Bang candies. They feature flavored marshmellow treats but we bought panini's . Delicious!
