First, let me say this. Our experience here wasn't bad, but after staying here once and seeing the potential downward spiral, in a year, I wouldn't stay here again. The hotel is brand new and very nice looking outwardly. Very near airport!!!!!!!!!! - more on that in a minute. The lobby is well decorated and fresh looking. The pool was clean and my son loved it. No hot tub though. The gym was nice, with 2 treadmills, an elliptical, and 2 more something's that I cannot remember..... Stationary bikes maybe? There were also free weights and yoga mats. The staff at the front desk was very nice, but did spend our check in time on , what I think was a personal call, or she was really friendly with a vendor for the hotel. Again, she paused her phone call and was very friendly to us and got us checked in fast. The hallways were nice and wide and to get into the hotel room one just taps the access card against a card reader. Our hotel room was nice looking, due to its brand New-ness. The small kitchen was nice to have and we did make use of the almost full size fridge. No range but a sign in our room said you could take one out on loan from the front desk. The dishes were clean. There was a dish washer. The bathroom was nice. No tub just a large shower with sliding door. Three or four spots inside of it to sit personal belongings which was nice. Bathroom was clean. The hotel room itself was nice but appeared as if someone forgot to hang something on the wall. It looked sort Of barren. The bed was attractive but uncomfortable. The mattress seemed okay at first but I woke a few hours into the night with my hip hurting! Not the comfort of a Hampton bed. There's a section of wall that has a spot particle boarded off to make a closet, and two desks, and two shelve type things. The kitchen is also separated by this board stuff. I just really can see it looking rundown in a few months because of the cheap materials. There was already a stain on the carpet and a hole in the wall by a light fixture. The room darkening shade was great, it was sort of set into the wall by a track which blocked out a lot of light. Now, about the nearness to the airport. This amenity, while convinent, proved to be annoying. When flights started landing and taking off around six, it sounded like the engine was situated outside the wall of our hotel. Unbelievably loud. If you plan on sleeping later than six stay somewhere else or bring something to stuff in your ears. So... This stay wasn't just awful, but I can see this currently nice hotel going down quick because of cheap workmanship. Probably wouldn't stay here again. Oh.... Breakfast was kind of gross. The whole grain buckwheat waffle wasn't the worst thing ever but the boiled eggs didn't taste right and the oatmeal had the texture of snot. Way overcooked. There were frozen biscuits with meat and cheese and little frozen bagel looking things with eggs and meat on top that you popped in the microwave to heat, but I didn't try those.

I booked the 2 nights that we stayed through an operator at the Hilton Honors number. We booked the first night at a discount using points and the second night using my government rate. Because of using the two different discounts, the operator made two separate reservations...all of this to say that when we checked in I was told that I would have to come down the next morning to check out and then check in for the second night. The guy at the desk said that we would be able to keep our room, but we would just have to check out/in for the computer system. Then next morning when I went to the desk, the guy at the desk (same one from the night before) told me that we would have to switch rooms b/c the first night was reserved as a two Queen bed suite and the second night was reserved as a one Queen bed suite and they were all booked up so he had to make us leave. Needless to say, moving all of our things and two kids things from on room to another was VERY inconvenient and I would have preferred to stay in the smaller room if I had known that the 2 reservations were different.
Other than that...the hotel was very nice and brand new. I think that they had only been opened for 2 weeks. The rooms were spacious and the kids really enjoyed the pool.

Newer hotel with a modern flair. Friendly front desk staff. Almost seems like an apartment when you walk in the lobby. The swimming pool, workout area and elevators are all up front. Easy to find your room and when you walk in it looks like an Ikea showroom. Big room with a kitchen area, sofa area, and bed on the other side. Everything is open and new. Extremely functional! Once again feels like an apartment. Kitchen area is great with plates/bowls and glasses. Has a microwave, dishwasher, and large frig.

Bathroom is nice but not large. Shower instead of tub. The shower has a soap and shampoo dispenser which I loved! No need for bar soap!

Breakfast was so-so typical to other Hilton properties like a Hampton. My husband generally stays in Hamptons and loved this place. I liked it but it is definitely different than the typical Hampton/Hilton Garden Inn.

It's a nice new hotel, and looks good from the outside (the inside of the rooms also look good). The price is also good (I paid $129 a night on 7-27-13). But, there is a huge problem - the ways are extremely thin, and you can hear everything from your neighbors, and the air conditioning is way too loud. I would not stay again. :(
