It's crappy on the outside, it's not much better on the inside. It's not the healthiest of foods. However, it is fantastic. People are super nice. Line moves very quickly. And the food is phenomenal. Definitely recommend.

Well, thank you Tripadvisor community! You did not disappoint!!!

The food at Arnold's is true Southern comfort food. This is an authentic eatery with locals and business people as patrons. This is not a tourist trap.

Like other reviews noted, there is a line to get in, so bring a bit of patience and perhaps a bottled water as you may be waiting outside in the sun for a tad. We arrived at approx 11:15 AM on a Friday and our wait was only15 minutes or so just to get inside. The line is constantly moving.

Now understand, food is served cafeteria style not sit down service. Once you do get your food and settle your bill, table seating is available. Seating is "family" style so you may share a table with a complete stranger, but to me, that makes your meal and conversation more interesting.

Arnold's is a fast paced energetic environment - not the most optimum place for those seeking a quiet dining experience. The lively and friendly owner is actually busy walking around, greeting customers, getting refills and even clearing tables.

Make sure to check the hours of operation.

Free parking is available adjacent to the restaurant.

Also, we left a tip for the very hardworking kind gent bussing tables.

Saw many good reviews of Arnolds on Trip Advisor so we thought we should give it a try. Glad we did - it certainly was an experience. Mainly locals and all very friendly. Good food but limited daily choice.

Went in around 11 on a Friday, the line wasn't bad just a few people ahead of us. Got the smoked chicken, fried green tomatoes, green beans, some kind of squash casserole, and fried catfish. 2 drinks added on & it was around $20. Everything was really fresh, the fried green tomatoes were awesome, the chicken was just so so. I was hoping to get chicken fried steak but they didn't have it that day, it looks to be a family run place & it's definitely a set menu each day. If you're in the area check it out, it's well worth it.

Thank Erica E

We loved our visits to Arnold's! Exceptional!! Country cooking at its finest. It is family owned, and they make you feel at home and part of the family. Even though they are widely acclaimed, they remain humble and welcoming. There is a line when they open and are only open from 10:30-2:30. We enjoyed pie when they opened and there wasn't a bad choice- they were all great - we had chocolate, chess, and pecan. (We visited them twice in one day -at open and close to closing time.) Arrive early for the best choice as favorites sometimes run out - we missed the rolls as we got there not long before closing. We tried both the roast beef and the country fried steak with 3 vegetables each -- we had mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and veggie Cajun fried potatoes. Everything was great! The meat portions are large compared to many places. You will get full and have a great meal. The family and staff are also great fun to visit with while you eat. We overheard one of the family say they look for the finest and freshest ingredients they can find to make their meals with. You can taste that in the food! Take our advice and stop in for a meal - you won't regret it if you are looking for great country cooking with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We will absolutely be back when our travels permit.
