“Best brews in Nashville...good selection...great layout...live music!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2014

Decided to check out a couple of breweries while in Nashville. Went to Yazoo and Tenn Brew Works. Yazoo was just ok...simple layout...beers were alright...reminded me of ATL breweries...just not enough going on.

So, we saved the best for last. Tenn Brew Works has a full scale experience. Staff was friendly. There was live music featuring some country artist struggling to make it big. The beer selection was great. There is seating outdoors and upstairs. And, there's a nice tucked away dart board area. Games are great when drinking!!

One nice thing is that most of the breweries are all close together in the Gulch.

“Beer was good. You should try it.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014

Had a decent selection of microbrews. Did a flight to sample a large portion of the beverages. Didnt care for the stout, but I never do. The staff was super friendly and took their time in describing the different beers (very informed). No food served here, but there was a food truck slinging expensive tacos. Brew works did have a few different flavors of popcorn available. We went with the bacon cheddar, I recommend it. Had a nice patio and a live country/bluegrass band.

“Great new microbrewery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

The location may seem a bit weird to folks from out of town, but don't be fooled. This is a great new microbrewery located near downtown Nashville. Great atmosphere, plenty of seating and a great outdoor area. The beer is great and the service has been good during each of our visits there. It's close to Yazoo and Jackolope as well, so you can triple your fun.

“Fantastic Beer & a Great Venue”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 March 2014

Tennessee Brew Works makes my absolute favorite beers - several of them! They offer a full range & there's something special about each (my personal favorites are the Cutaway IPA & the Extra Easy Ale, and the Basil Ryeman is special too). The atmosphere in their new taproom is great - you can see the brewery operation & sit at one of the bars, at tables throughout the taproom or (now that the weather is finally turning nicer) outside on a really nice deck. The service is top-notch, really friendly folks who make you feel at home. They often have live music on the first floor, which is a perfect accompaniment to Nashville's best local beer.

“Great place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 December 2013 via mobile

My husband and I went to Tennessee Brew Works with our two friends on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was very laid back, it was not too crowded, and the service was good. We really enjoyed all of the 5 samples they offered and ended up ordering a variety of beers. The live music was also very good. We would love to go back when we visit Nashville again.
