“Great location!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 August 2009

Arrived a couple of hours early but were able to check-in before stated time. Nice room located on the 4th floor. Very comfortable beds, roomy bathroom and great water pressure. Microwave, fridge, and free wi-fi was nice to have. Breakfast was just okay but plentiful of what they had.

After reading several reviews of the downtown nashville hotels, I chose Hampton Inn to stay at based on the favorable TA reviews and our budget. We were traveling with our three children and needed a place that would accomodate all of us in one room and not be too cramped. We had a 2 queen bed suite with a pull out couch and it was one of the largest hotel rooms we have stayed in and exceptionally clean. Plenty of room for everyone. Nice counter/sink area by the refrigerator/microwave with a large mirror above. The vanity also had ample counter space and large mirror so was helpful to allow more than one person to get ready at the same time. I'll have to say the bathroom itself though is verrry small. Nice shower with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The breakfast area was very large with plenty of seating and all of the usual foods. A little lacking on fresh fruit and only had one toaster so the line to toast your bagels or bread etc. was very long. We didn't have time to use the pool so I can't comment on that. There were a few cons: The parking, although free at the hotel, was very tight to say the least(we have a van). My husband said he would have rather paid for better parking as it was pretty packed in. We had no soap or shampoo in the room and only a few towels but when asked for items they were brought up promptly. The TV did not work but the person who brought up the soap and towels was able to fix the TV! We did have a problem with our room key a few times but it just took a couple of trys then it would work. Just make sure you check the door handle once you leave the room to make sure it locked. One one small trash can in the whole room(none in the bathroom). All in all, it was a good stay, as it really is very close to all the attractions and to the downtown restaurants. We would stay here again if we wanted to stay in the downtown area.

What a hotel !! Great location, a stones throw from the action but still quiet. Complete luxury, great beds, huge bathroom with a corner jet bath. Great breakfast & plenty of it, very friendly staff in dining area especially, couldnt do enough for you.
Nashville is a fun place , the music museum well work the bucks to get in, even if Country isnt your thing.
Would go back and definately stay at this hotel

Very nice new hotel with its own parking garage. Across the street from the Country Music Hall of Fame, few blocks from the Music District, across the river from Titan's stadium, and next door to the Nashville Symphony(if thats your thing). The Hilton is 2 blocks away and is more money for basically the same hotel. This is where you should stay if coming to Nashville. It's a lovely city.

We stayed here on a spur of the moment trip to Nashville (2 hour drive). I was very pleased with our choice to stay here and would definitely stay again on a trip to downtown Nashville. Once we parked our vehicle when we got there, it was close enough to all of the restaurants, entertainment, Sommet Center, etc. that we could walk back and forth and didn't get back in the truck until we left the next day. The parking is very safe. It is right on the property in an underground garage - and free. Breakfast the next morning was also included. The rooms were very nice and modern. Very comfortable bed. Small kitchen area with sink, little refrigerator and microwave. Great stay and more reasonably priced than most other downtown hotels.

Great Location - right across from Country Music Hall of Fame - couple blocks from the Arena. Just a few blocks south of Tootsie etc.

Parking - free and underground - no issues there

Check in - smooth

Room - King size bed - flat screen tv - large shower stall - large vanity - fridge and microwave. No complaints at all. Very Quiet and comfortable.

Breakfast - for a freebie no complaints.

Too busy to use the pool, hot tub or workout room.

Front desk staff always were helpful.

We were very happy with our stay and would stay again.

A clean, modern lobby with an urban decor is your introduction to this well-run Hampton Inn close to Nashville's downtown district. The location is in a nondescript warehousey area just 3-4 blocks from the restaurants, sights, and nightspots of the downtown district. It is also across the street from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. We had a very good stay and have no complaints. We will stay here again next time we are in town.
