Can't beat this deal: very accommodating staff always willing to help and a shuttle driver who went out of his way to help us. Plus a room that abided by Hampton Inn's consistent quality standards. I forget the driver's name but he deserves extra praise, Thank You!

We stay at Hampton Inns almost always when traveling, so it's no surprise that we booked this one for a four-night stay in Nashville. The location is perfect for visiting downtown, just a mile or two down West End and Broadway, plus there's shuttle service right to the corner of Honky Tonk row, where there's drinks, eats and plenty of music. Going in the other direction? Centennial Park, featuring the Parthenon, is only a few blocks distant, and a nice walk. Want to hang out local? There's a number of decent restaurants nearby, including a brew pub right across the street and some dynamite hot chicken, a Nashville specialty, right around the corner. Breakfast is usual Hampton fare at the hotel, which is perfectly adequate, but if you need some more substantial food, there's a NYC-style deli a quick walk around the block. You're also right near Vanderbilt University, with all of the student-oriented bars and grills. Rooms at the hotel are Hampton standard and very good. The outdoor pool was perfect on the hot, sunny days. Parking was convenient, albeit a little tight for those of us with big vehicles. If you can make the squeeze, there's even parking under the building, to stay out of the sun or storms. Best of all, the folks who run this place were absolutely terrific, in more ways than one. What's more to say? When we come back to Nashville, it will be a no-brainer to rebook here.

Room Tip: We stayed on the third floor, but I don't know if there are any "bad" rooms.

Clean, comfortable, and the breakfast is not what you find at a complimentary breakfast. Western omlets, bacon, fresh fruit salad, hot prepared oatmeal with fun toppings and great coffee. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a hotel close to the fun atmosphere of downtown Nashville. Also, we were there for a bachelorette party and wanted an outdoor pool, no other hotel around this area has an outdoor pool! Stay here, you will be happy you did!

Very personable front desk staff, spacious quiet room, comfortable bed, nice breakfast area with plenty of seating and hot breakfast items. Free shuttle so don't have to pay for parking downtown - driver was friendly and had helpful suggestions for music to check out.

My granddaughter and I were in Nashville for a tour of Vanderbilt. The location of this hotel was outstanding for us. The courtesy shuttle was wonderful. The drivers were very helpful, courteous and went above and beyond their duties. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. The breakfast to go bags were great because my granddaughter had an early flight back home and we just grabbed one to eat on our way to the airport.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. For the price, I think I'd expect a nicer communal area and better quality breakfast (dark room, weak coffee, plastic cutlery, horrible horrible watery porridge) and maybe not having a little note on arriving informing me that my sheets were clean. I should hope so! But the staff were really nice and super-helpful and the free shuttle-bus is a nice option.

Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking, free shuttle, breakfast. Although it's not located on the downtown strip or in that area, it's still a GREAT location to stay and tour downtown. They provide a shuttle and if you stay out past shuttle hours, it's a short cab ride back ($7-10) - much better cost than other hotels at $20 a night for parking. Walking distance to restaurants, safe area, and responded to any needs we had.
