Road trip home and an overnight stop in Nashville. We decided to Priceline and got the Millennium. Never heard of it so we were a little anxious about it. Check in took a while so we thought we were off to a bad start. Friendly woman but only one working so she is answering phone, calling for cabs, shuttle drivers, etc. while we are trying to check in. The lobby was nice, the pool looked nice and our room was fine.....just dated. Bathroom was very small. Our BED was very nice....really comfortable. We were going to try to take the shuttle but decided it would take forever. Large groups waiting and basically a van running back and forth every 20 to 30 minutes. It is not walkable to downtown so we drove and had to pay $25 to park. SO if you add the amount for parking on to our priceline rate we probably could have stayed within walking distance for not much more. It was fine....not sure it was worth the rate and definitely not what I would consider "downtown".

Thank you for helping to make the Millennium Maxwell House be a better place. We are logging and addressing these issues while still providing the most enjoyable experience to our guests, and keeping the most competitive rates. We keep 2 to 3 vans (2 at the least) running 15 hours a day 7 days a week taking guest to and from downtown/airport. To park overnight at a hotel downtown is $20 per night to self-park, not to mention the premium hotel rates. We pride ourselves on our guest satisfaction and appreciate your feedback. Kind Regards, Patrick

I travel alot for business and do not like to stay where I work. Having said that ~ I picked this deal up and decided ..with a shuttle and away from downtown ~ it would be perfect. They were great, set me up with a room high up, w/ Nashville skyline view and when I came in late, cold, wet and tired, management bought me a hot of coffee, then the manager of the restaurant and I started talking .. he gave me a piece of choc- cheesecake. DOES IT GET MUCH BETTER THAN THIS,
Yes, the next morning the shuttle took me straight to the door of my meeting! Loved it.

Room Tip: High up, room with a view of the city..also, where you can watch when the shuttle comes and goes!

We went to see our nephews graduate from high school in Nashville and we found the Millennium was close to the auditorium.
When we arrived the hotel provided a shuttle to the Nashville airport. We were greeted by Michele the manager on duty. She provided us information about the hotel and area. Even sent up some bottled water after our long trip from Florida.
The room was clean and the towels were outstanding. They were thick and not thin like you see at other full service hotels. We also had most of our meals their and the buffets
at Breakfast, lunch and dinner were great! All you can eat.
We would highly recommend folks to stay at the Maxwell House. They have a friendly staff who provides outstanding services.
PS On Sunday I went to see a Wedding Expo at the hotel and i wish i lived in Nashville, i would have our daughters wedding at this property!!!

Room Tip: Get on the 8, or 9 floor!

I was somewhat apprehensive when my travel agent booked us into the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel in Nashville last week (primarily because of the many negative reviews here on Tripadvisor) but my anxiety proved totally unfounded. We stayed at Millennium Maxwell House Hotel for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. While our room was perhaps a bit on the small side, everything else about the hotel was pretty much perfect. The complementary shuttle service drivers, the front desk personnel, the bar and restaurant employees -- all were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.Perhaps we just had an unusually pleasant experience at Millennium Maxwell House Hotel but our experience there was so good that we plan on returning to Nashville again soon and -- if the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel can accommodate us -- that is where we will stay, which is just about the best compliment one can pay to a hotel. I don't discount the veracity of the many negative reviewers of this hotel; I just know that our experience was a particularly good one.

My companion Mike and I spent several days at the Millennium Maxwell House Nashville. We had a lovely vist and found everything to our satisfaction. Arriving home, Mike discovered he had left a paper bag filled with snacks, magazines, and one important item: his planner, which contained a wealth of contact information and important records. He called the hotel and asked if someone had found it. They took his information and said they would try to find it. I had little hope, as obviously a paper bag of snacks and magazines would be tossed. A week later, an employee named Elaine called me, saying she had found Mike's planner. I asked her, "How in the world?" and she replied, "You really don't want to know! I will say, it is clean, though!". This staff member, Elaine, obviously went above and beyond her call of duty to look for Mike's book; we are both very thankful and appreciative. We will be going back next year for the same event, Music City Boogie, so we will look her up and thank her personally!

Room Tip: Next time we will get a King bed instead of two doubles.
