Comfortable, large and clean room that was priced similar to other big name city center hotels. Very convenient to all the music, bars and restaurants on Broadway. Valet parking is an eye opening $35.00 a day but there is a municipal garage right across the street for $9.00 per day. Pleasant, helpful and friendly service all around.

The good:
Valets- they are on top of things, had a great experience every time with them.
Wait staff in Breakfast Café - Very friendly and kind, eager to be there. Had a good experience both times I dined inside the hotel. The food was fresh and well presented also.
Conference experience - the hotel had nice meeting rooms and good lunch service during conference.
Fitness Center - great fitness center and pool with up to date equipment.

The average:
Bellhops - had a great one and a not so great one
Rooms - Regular hotel room, nothing fancy. The mattresses and pillows are comfortable, but nothing to write home about. No fridge!

The AWFUL:
Front desk staff - Hard to hear, a very noisy lobby, not very helpful or informative, argumentative at times. I will say that the young boy who did check out was very helpful, other experiences including check-in were not great.
Room had dirty washcloth hanging on shower curtain when we checked in, hairs in bathtub.

Overall, the hotel LOOKS great, has nice commons areas and is in a perfect location. The rooms were typical hotel rooms that could stand a more stringent cleaning.

We held our annual CPAConnect Roundtable conference at the Renaissance Nashville. The staff including, Linda Montes, Andrew Atkins lll, Taylor Helton... to mention a few and all of the staff were so attentive and made sure whatever we, and our attendees, needed was taken care of immediately. Also, my room was so comfortable!! I couldn't wait to get back to it each night after our conference activities ended!!

I would definitely recommend your hotel to anyone who is planning on visiting the Nashville area.

Great job. Can't wait to come back. : )

Sincerely, Ellen Donovan

Recently stayed for a Summit at this hotel located within a short walking distance from the Music Center Convention Center. The rooms were spacious, with extremely comfortable bedding and a great view of downtown Nashville. The staff were very attentive, quick elevators, Starbucks in the lobby and dinning avaialbe in the hotel. The valet service was exceptional with the doormen available to open the door each time we entered the building. The green apples located at the desk were a welcome treat. Parking is across the street for quest for the hotel. Nightime music can be heard from the 17th floor , but it's Nashville and it sounds good.
Check it out for yourself, but our 5 night stay was great.

Room Tip: 12th or above for the great view.

I am rating this hotel a 4 star mostly because of the location. It is only a few blocks...walking distance... to all the live music on Broadway, and near the Ryman Auditorium, and Country Music Hall of Fame. Expect to hear some night time music from Broadway. The security is good, valet parking expensive ($30 per night). The rooms are adequate, clean, and more along the lines of a Courtyard property, and could use some updating. The food was good, and the hotel offers a typical full breakfast buffet. The staff were friendly, helpful, polite, and responsive. It is a bit expensive for the amenities offered. If you want to be within walking distance of all the live music on Broadway, this hotel is a definite consideration.

Room Tip: This is a popular hotel, so book early!

The hotel was centrally located and the staff was friendly. The rooms were comfortable but they could use a little upgrading. The bed was comfortable but nothing out of the ordinary. I rank it "very good" as opposed to average only because of te location and staff.

We recently stayed here for two nights in mid-October, and were a bit disappointed at our experience. Overall, we expected a lot more for the price we paid for our room, which was very basic, and somewhat dated, but I do understand they are currently undergoing renovations. The biggest disappointment was a lack of amenities that are expected in most hotels of this caliber: a safe in the room, a hair dryer in the bathroom (later rectified by the front desk), decent water pressure in the shower (it was more like a trickle), and most of all, free internet access (the price was around $10 a day!) Also, at night, we actually had to deal with the street noise and music from the bars on Broadway, even though we were on the 22 floor of 24 floors. I can't imagine how much louder the music was on the floors below us, but it can make for a miserable night for light sleepers. The pros for the hotel are the location, since it was easy to walk to many locations, and the view. Overall, I am not sure I would stay here again for the price paid.
