This cabin is very nice. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The upper floor common area is very open to accommodate large groups for socializing and eating. Both balcony’s have great views, but the upper view was outstanding (miles and miles of unobstructed viewing). Would highly recommend staying in this cabin and we would use again for a large group. Easy access to Pigeon Forge, (I went to Wal-Mart and back in under 30 minutes). Area around the cabin is very quite with plenty of parking for our four vehicles. Other amenities; pool access, game room Wi-Fi, etc. a nice bonus.
We really enjoyed the cabin! It was very accomodating for our family of nine. The grandkids especially loved the pool area and we loved the view from the back porch.
The cabin was amazing. Views were breath taking. Would love to return for another stay. Far enough out for peaceful sun rises and nature sounds but 10 min drive to anything you might want to do. The owners need to invest in a separate beverage fridge for the amount of people this cabin will house. Kitchen was very nicely stocked with all you would need other than fridge space. We did use the washer and dryer and that was nice coming home to very little dirty laundry. So looking forward to our next trip to Tennessee.
The view is absolutely gorgeous! Both families loved this cabin. It was the perfect vacation site. The only area for opportunity is the dishes should be washed occasionally.
Really, really nice cabin in the Hidden Springs Resort area. The views from the cabin were very nice from both decks. The morning fog made for great pictures. The night was still and quiet with the glow of the Pigeon Forge lights down below. In our case, the cabin was lightly decorated for Christmas.
The cabin is well stocked in the kitchen, enough plates, utensils ect for my party of 11. There is a Keurig machine and a regular coffee maker, dishwasher, nice flattop stove, and a microwave the nukes food real quick. There are 3 bathrooms, with showers in the cabin. One is a shared bathroom on the main floor between the living room and the master bedroom. There is a tub in the master bedroom as well. The other 2 bathrooms are located on the lower floor in the bedrooms. I must say that the beds are comfortable, and there are plenty of extra linens and blankets available. There is a foldout sofa upstairs and downstairs. The hot tub is nice, and it is located on the lower level deck. There is a billiards table on the lower level as well. The stairs going from the main level to the lower level are narrow and seem steep. There is a baby gate available to keep little ones, or little critters, from falling down the stairs. We used it for the pups.
Dollywood is literally right down the road as you leave the cabin, maybe 3-5 minutes away, the Island is about 10 minutes away, and the main Parkway is about 5-7 minutes away as well.
This is not a knock on the cabin, just more of an FYI if you take dogs:
The cabin is pet friendly, but there are a couple issues with walking or taking out the dogs. If you know this and are okay with this, then no worries. Otherwise, it could be an issue. The cabin is on a steep incline going up the mountain side, so that slope is pretty steep from the right sloping to the left. On the right side of the cabin there is a space between the cabin next door, the grassy area between the cabins is steep. The angle slopes away from the road towards the back of the cabin, and it is very slippery when wet (ask me how I know). The other side of the cabin has railroad ties that must be stepped over, and then down to the grass between your cabin and another cabin. The is about a 1ft to 1.5ft step down and then step up if you plan to go back the same way. This area is not as steep, but there is a slope that angles away from the road towards the back of the cabin. One at the bottom of the slope, there is a flat area behind the cabin to walk the dogs. Just be mindful when going down those two slopes if the grass is wet, the clay does not help either if it is wet.
So, the question is would I stay here again? Absolutely!
It is close to everything, well equipped, and cozy.
There is so much to do within a short driving distance from the cabin. Dixie Stampede, go-karts, putter golfing, the Aquarium in Gatlinburg ( traffiic backup in Gatlinburg). An awesome trail through the mountains. So much to do in the few days. Could have just relaxed at the cabin.
