Stayed here for three nights and had a king room. Hotel is brand new and was very nice. Had a nice outdoor sitting area with rockers and outdoor fireplace that would be great during the fall. Nice outdoor pool with kid’s splash area and large hot tub. Nice lobby with fireplace and always had hot coffee, hot tea, hot cocoa available. Staff was very friendly. Although the standard king room is small it is adequate. Had a small desk, microwave, fridge, large flat screen TV, and a good size bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The location is great, just off the main street from all the traffic noise, yet close enough to be anywhere in Pigeon Forge in just a few minutes! Very clean, do not hesitate to stay here while visiting the area!

Good location, new construction, spacious bathroom, comfortable beds with nice, clean linens. Attractive though small outdoor pools--one great for young kids. Very large breakfast area. The only negatives were due the hotel's newness, no brochure rack yet to learn about area attractions plus the beleaguered breakfast gal had a hard time keeping the food available for the hungry families. Yet, they had cereals, breads, muffins, eggs, fresh fruit--some, but not plentiful. Maybe the hotel should hire two people to keep up with the food demand in the morning.

Dear Vacation_now_plz,
Thank you for your review on TripAdvisor. As a brand new hotel, it is so important for our guests to review us and let us know how we are doing. I am happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. With all new hotels, there are always small kinks to work out and I thank you for your patience. Since opening we have hired a second, full time breakfast attendant and additional breakfast equipmnent so we are able to accomodate the breakfast demand. Again, thank you for choosing to stay with us and I hope the next time you visit Pigeon Forge, you will choose us again for your lodging needs.
Thank you,
Rose Scarantino, AGM

We booked this hotel knowing that upon our arrival, it would have been open for only one week. Unfortunately, a good stay in a hotel all boils down to "Service", and the service by the staff of this hotel was not what you would expect for a business just opening and needing to make a good first impression.

The staff at the front desk did not provide a friendly or informative welcome. My wife was not given information on where to park/unload, breakfast bar times, pool times, etc. She was simply told "Here are your room key cards". This was very vivid to me because two days later when I checked my sister and family into the Spring Hill Suites across the street, the front desk staff there were incredibly friendly, informative, and helpful. The contrast was quite noticeable.

Upon entering our room, we immediately found coffee stains on the bedspread. When calling the front desk to inform them of this they offered to replace it. We declined, saying it could be replaced the next day by room service but upon further reflection it may have been appropriate for the staff to insist on replacing it. We found hair on the sheets from previous guest(s) as well. Our room door did not close by itself. We had to physically lean out weight on it to get it to latch closed.

The garbage can on the first floor near the elevators was allowed to remain full and overflowing for a couple of days.

The breakfast bar was not serviced with excellence. The hot food ran out a couple of different days, causing people to stand around waving their paper plates as they waited. Also, the donuts and muffins were allowed to run out and were not restocked for an unusually long amount of time. There was also a day when no utensils were placed at the breads bin. I observed a young guest reach in for a donut, lick his fingers, then reach back in for another. I also saw a teenage young man grab 3-4 pieces of bread, then drop 2 back into the bin, which caused me to change my mind about having toast that morning. If there had been a utensil there for him to use, perhaps he would not have done that. I'm not sure.

This hotel has an excellent outdoor back patio setup, with a fireplace. They turned the fireplace on one afternoon when it was over 85 degrees outside. It also has an excellent kiddie pool setup separate from the other outdoor pool, and has an indoor pool/workout room also. Maybe this Hampton Inn just needs time to get the kinks worked out, but you never get a second chance to make a good first impression. Our family won't be staying here again when just across the street is a place that exceeds expectations in serving its customers.

New hotel so the room was nice, only complaint was the staff couldn't manage the breakfast area, they would never have any food so we ate in town. and we had to get basic items from the desk due to housekeeping forgot them.

Good stay other than that so would return again for the value.
