Went with our church youth group and my mind was blown! Singers and singing was great! The meal was amazing that they served us! If you leave hungry its your own fault...the biblical show was right on. They used scriptures from the bible and acted and sang about it. A lot of time and dedication was put into the show to make it happen. Go see it with your family and enjoy God, food and entertainment!

“Not too bad”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2014

The food quality and quantity was good. If you've seen the Miracle in past years, this production doesn't even begin to compare. It just feels like a very low budget production, and I (as a pastor) do not agree with some of the views given in this production.

“Dinner was Great; Not Impressed with Show”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2014

Hosted my family of 20 people and was anticipating a good show. Had seen a religious production in Pigeon Forge five years ago that included angels flying by wire, live animals on stage, and many special effects; none of which were presented during this show. Can only conclude it was a different theater company. The flyer for the show states “Dine in comfortable theater seating….” When purchasing the tickets the salesperson stated “oh, you don’t really want to spend the three hours in those old theater chairs; spend just $5 more per ticket to enjoy our deluxe chairs.” I should have walked away at that time but had promised the group I’d treat for this show. The best thing about this show was the dinner, served by hard-working Ukrainians. The food was provided by the adjacent Woodside Grill and all was very tasty. The show was a disappointment. The choppy background mountain images and mediocre attempt at holographic images were not impressive. After the sixth time of seeing the Red Sea part and fill back in, coupled with block images of the soldiers and chariots chasing the Christians, we were ready for a nap. I ended up apologizing to my family for the remainder of our get-together, not to mention being out the $812 for the tickets, which could have been better spent at another of the shows in the area. Am glad several of the Trip Advisor commentators enjoyed a good time; however, we did not consider it as living up to the advertised venue and will not be back.

In response to Mike B 7/29/14 comments:
We appreciate those good things that you said about us in your comments. I remember serving you and your family during your seating and meal. I thought that they all enjoyed the show and meal. However, I do feel that I must defend ourselves against some of your criticism. No, we don’t have flying angels or live animals, nor have we ever promoted that we do in any of our literature. You chose to compare us to the former theater called The Miracle, which went out of business for two reasons: too much production cost and straying away from the Biblical message. In fact, they were the same ticket price then that we are now and they didn’t even have a meal. With the installation of our holographic system we made the decision early on to not make those mistakes and that is why we chose to build the first half of our show around the personal testimonies of our cast and the second half around the Biblical message of Moses.
As for our seating, our original green seats were the best theater seats in town at $150 per chair. We found a way to adapt them for a dinner show because there was no company in America at that time that made the rocker dinner theater chairs like the red ones that we have now. We found a company in China that made them and at a cost of nearly three times the green chairs. We bought 100 of them in order to offer them as an option if someone wanted to upgrade to them. This is just like in an airplane seat or other venues that charge more for up front premium seating. They have been so well received that we are going to order more of them.
I do agree with your view of the CGI on the Red Sea Crossing scene, but the CGI man that we use is getting better with each production that he does for us. However, I must correct you about one thing on this scene. The soldiers were not “chasing Christians.” It would be about another 1300 years before the first Christian arrive in the Bible, they were chasing the Children of Israel into the sea, which is Biblical.
We regret your two star report and wish you had addressed it with us while you were here. It is very satisfying for us to see all of the five star reports that we have been getting on Trip Advisor and especially all of the wonderful things that people tell us in the lobby after every show. It is very rewarding to all of us. In fact, we have already started working on next year’s show about the Four Blood Moons and the Seven Holy Feast of the Lord. We hope you will come again, but if not we understand.

“Biblical Times Dinner Theatre”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 July 2014

My husband and I enjoyed this show so much we attended again within a few days. The performers were terrific and very talented. The pre-show was a concert in itself and was excellent. There was such a feeling of sincere praise for God that it filled the theater. Everyone was extremely cordial. the performers, servers and management. You really got the feeling that you were part of the family there. The food was the best of all the dinner shows we attended and take home containers were readily available and used by most. The story Moses Mountain of God was very well written and true to Bible scriptures. Mixing of holograms and stage performances is ingenious and works well to tell the story. You will leave feeling blessed and uplifted. We highly recommend this dinner theater to all. It is not to be missed. We are thankful for this group of people who are taking seriously their mission to pass along God's word and to be a blessing to all who attended the theater. Responsible management, talented performers and dedicated servers equal a show not to be missed! Our prayers and best wishes for Biblical Times Dinner Theater. May they grow in popularity and success! Ralph/Marj Bradley, IL
