The cabins at Black Bear Ridge Resorts are huge and beautiful. They are well maintained. We had a cabin that slept 12. We had an air hockey game and pool table on the last level. It kept the children entertained. There was cable TV in every room and two hot tubs.
The cabin was easy to locate and close to downtown. The trash was picked up daily.
It was spring break so the HUGE cabins on both sides of us were packed with college age students. They slept during the day and partied with their loud music all night. A call was made to the emergency number about the noise. We were told that nothing could be done. Security was non-existence.
I don't think it's fair to place young children in cabins close to cabins occupied by young adults who are there for a good fun time. I have nothing against fun but my children ages 3, 7, 9, 10, 12 14 & 16 could not understand why nothing could be done to stop all the noise and loud music.More
