First off this was our fist time in 3 years to get a weekend without kids. I wanted a jacuzzi suite ( seperate from bathroom) and from the photos online I thought that was what we was getting when I booked! Nope was I wrong! Plus our view was a flashing vacancy sign seeing we was ground floor and it sit right in front of our balcony ! I thought stay positive and just have a good time! So we head out to the hot tub to relax . At least that was the plan . As soon as my fiancé stepped in he fell ! The cover to the vent in the bottom of the hot tub was busted and his foot went into it cutting it all on the top and bottom ! He wobbled to the front desk with blood dripping and they act as though it no big deal and just continue checking others in! Finally they dig up some bandages cause there was no first aide kit . She ask what room we was in and said sorry and we went on our way not wanting to cause a sceen we just assumed they would give us a night free and at least a discount , or we thought that's why she wanted our room number! But no we got nothing but a sorry! What gets me is if we would've acted like most a@@holes we probably would've gotten a discount but being a nice guy gets you nothing . Not to mention it put a HUGE damper on the entire weekend cause the bruising and cuts all on the bottom made all the walking around pigeon forge misery for him ! My option is if you have a business then treat your costumes how you would expect to be treated !!! We will not be returning due to fact the owners cared so little .

Our car and three others were broken into while staying at the Norma Dan hotel. The passenger side window was smashed with a rock and then we were robbed. The failure of the hotel to show any compassion by way of comping our room, or accepting any responsibility made this the worst stay I've ever had at a hotel. In addition it was dated and noisy. I will never stay there again.

Room Tip: Don't get a room by the pool or in the front. The street is noisy as is the pool area.

Decided to take a last minute trip to Pigeon Forge over the 4th of July, all of our usual places we like to stay were full, so had to try a new place, after looking at all the places decided to try Norma Dan. We may have found a new place to stay. Room with an AARP discount was around $89 for a room with a fireplace and Jacuzzi, last room available. Room was very private, nice and roomy, bathroom was big enough. Bed was comfy. Room was cleaned each day before we came home, except the last day, then we came back early to swim, room was not cleaned yet, but was cleaned when we returned. We actually saw Dollywood fireworks 4 nights from the front of the hotel and the fireworks from Pigeon Forge from our bedroom window.

If you're used to the Hilton, this isn't the place for you. However, if you are looking for a clean comfortable room the Norma Dan fits the bill. It was cheap at around 50.00 per night. They have a small breakfast with toast, donuts, cereal, waffles, oatmeal, juice and coffee.

We have been coming to Pigeon Forge for over 22 years and had never stayed here until this past weekend. My Husband and I loved it. The room was exactly as described to me when I called for our reservation. We were on the front with a balcony and rocking chairs. We got our AARP discount and the price was better then what we had been paying at other places. We used the indoor pool twice and it was clean and well kept. The front desk staff was friendly and prompt with help when we had a problem with the fireplace. Found the bed to be comfortable and clean. We can't wait to stay there again and would highly recommend it.

I was unsure about staying after seeing some of the earlier reviews. We were greeted warmly by the ladies at the desk. The wifi worked in our room and the indoor pool was clean. We called down to the front desk with a problem with the clothes dryer. They went out of their way to make it right. The room was clean and it was a good price for the four of us. We will be return guests for sure.

Had a good time. Very clean. Nice staff. Will definitely stay there again if given the chance. They had a nice continental breakfast that we enjoyed very much. Can't beat the price too. Cheap, clean, nice and fun. Can't say enough
