This water park had few lines the second week of June and except for the outrageous cost of parking was worth the price. Bring a lunch you can eat outside the park in the where tables or seating in the shade is available and save $ on the price of food.

As we went on one of the slides it requires a mat and most of the mats had mold on them. The inner tubes also need a good cleaning as you could also see dirt and mold on a lot of them. Overall park was kept up nicely as the staff is always on the move sweeping and keeping any trash picked up.
I did have another issue. After purchasing the refill souvenir cups (4 of them) I went up to get a refill and the cashier charged me for the refill. Later I went back to get another refill at a different location and went to pay for the refill and was then informed that the refills were free all day long since I purchased the cups. Went back to the original location and the young man (teenager) argues and said we had to pay for the refills. Went to a supervisor and he said they were free. Then the cashier argued with his own supervisor about the situation. Sounds like someone was being dishonest with the customers. (Pocketing the money? Who knows, I hope not)

Went to Splash Country with tickets bought online day of. Arrived at the park to find out the Top 3 attractions were closed for the day. Might be something you would want to know before a big chunk of change down for 8-10 tickets. We would have chosen a different day had this information been available before purchase. Also plan on water shoes as the concrete is unforgiving.

This was our first time ever at Splash country and loved it. We brought our 6 year old daughter that is 44inches tall and she could ride the majority of the rides. A couple things to please remember:
1. Bring some type of water shoes! The concrete is very hot and shoes at the park is very expensive.
2. Don’t bring a ton of things into the park. Lockers at a bit pricey at $15.
3. Bring your own canteen or water bottle to refill at the water fountains. This can save you some $.
4. Leave your towels in the car! It’s a huge park and you dry off pretty quick in between rides.
5. Use the bathroom when you are near them. The bathrooms are not conveniently placed around the park.

It is very clean and the staff is very friendly! We will definitely return! Our daughter no longer wants to go to Great Wolf Lodge, she wants to come here!

Splash Country is great for family. Lots of different water games, kids want to go every weekend. Worth the price of the tickets better than the theme park!
