“Magical!”
Reviewed 30 June 2012

As soon as we walked into the whimsical lobby, we decided to extend our stay an extra night! As a result, they upgraded our room free of charge! We stayed in Room 309 (right off the elevator). It was a little noisy one night. I'm guessing families were getting back from the amusement park, but in a hotel that caters to families that seems par for the course. We had a balcony overlooking the parking lot, but a tall tree provided privacy and if you turned to the right there was a nice view of the Smokies!

Our room was super clean and comfortable. The air conditioning did it's job and was quieter than the one in most of the other hotels we stayed in on our week long road trip.

The hotel staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Maintenance quickly responded to a clogged toilet and seemed happy to assist!

We have three children and were happy that a roll-a-way bed was provided.

I think the Christmas decorations and music added to the overall atmosphere. The decor wasn't over the top in my book. It was tastefully done. If you don't like Christmas, don't stay here! I wish the staff could decorate my home for the holidays!

There is an indoor and an outdoor pool. We only swam in the outdoor one. It was very clean and refreshing. The slide looked like a blast, but my kids are 4, 3, and 2, so we didn't use it. I was excited to see they are constructing an outdoor kiddie splash area! Wish it were done when we were there. We'll have to go back to check it out when it's finished.

In the mornings, the breakfast room was a little busy. We wound up sitting outside on the porch overlooking the gardens. The food was fresh, plentiful, and there was a nice variety of hot and cold items. I really liked the made to order omelets! Yum! Mrs. Claus was also there to greet the children!

The Inn at Christmas Place brought back the excitement I felt as a child on Christmas morning! Magical!

We can't wait to come back!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony. If you don't enjoy road noise, avoid garden view rooms that face...

We loved the Inn at Christmas Place! Everything was first rate. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The staff were always quite friendly and helpful. The grounds and pool were well maintained. The Christmas decor was beautiful throughout the hotel. Breakfast was provided although it would have been more convenient if it ended at 11:00am instead of 10am. Free internet is always is a plus. This was our first time at this property and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It certainly met my expectations. I would like to return for Thanksgiving, but rooms are already booked. I'm not sure when, but we certainly will return! Merry Christmas!!!

Whether it is Christmas time or mid summer this hotel provides the greatest experience you could ever want. Starting with the fabulous staff that go the extra mile to make your stay one memorable occasion. Gone are the days in most hotels where you are greeted at the front door with a smile and a welcome that starts your stay. Walk into the front lobby and you have been transported to a wonderland of elegance and beauty. Everywhere you look the decorations are magnificent..........Our room was just as beautiful, the beds are like none other that we have ever slept on. The pillows are feather and so soft I ended up buying 2 when I checked out. The granite counter tops are just one of the amenities that make you feel special. Again, Christmas trees and decorations in your room continue the festive feeling of Christmas..........In the morning you will be treated to an upscale breakfast where you can have just a cup of coffee or really indulge in Belgian Waffles, (you make yourself) or a full breakfast served to you. If an omelet is what you crave there is a member of the staff making them fresh to order. ..We have been here every year since the Hotel opened..Look for Alan (the bellman) and Daniel at the front desk. Just two of the exceptional staff that have been there since the beginning. It's like coming home. .....It was my husbands birthday and our 37th anniversary.. We had cookies in our room every night, gifts left to celebrate our anniversary and our names splashed across the TV in the Lobby with wishes to make our occasions more special. This place is great and if you go you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: We were on the fourth floor tucked into the corner of the hotel overlooking the pond. We asked for q...

We stayed here three years ago and just returned this summer and found it just as friendly and inviting as the first time. It smells really good-like Christmas-and is still very beautifully decorated and clean. My son enjoyed the free cookies in the evening and the breakfast character each morning. He also wrote a letter to Santa and put it in Santa's mailbox and ran around taking pictures of everything. Our whole family loves this place and we were happy to see it's still just as wonderful and the staff just as friendly as the first time. It may be a little more expensive than some of the other hotels in the area but we think it's worth it since we save money on the free breakfast (which has a huge selection and is delicious), the indoor and outdoor pool, the game room, and the fun/safe atmosphere. It's also in a great location in the heart of Pigeon Forge close to everything.

Our room was very nice, especially for the price (there was a special going on we hadn't even been aware of until check in) -- granite counter tops are pretty, the fridge and microwave would be handy on a longer stay. Service was great, decor was, well exactly what you'd expect, everything was clean and in good condition. The beds and pillows were also comfortable. The only downsides -- the pool photos on their website are deceptive. The outdoor pool is much smaller than it appears in the photo. The room tv is fairly small.

It was fun for a one-time visit -- I'm glad we went and got a great picture of my oldest kid with a little santa belief peeking through his "i'm a worldly cynical older kid" facade. On future visits, we'd probably stay someplace with a bigger pool though.

We were visiting family in Tennessee December 2011. Most of our stay was in our relative's home, however, we stayed one night at The Inn at Christmas Place. The hotel is very beautifully appointed with Christmas trees and decorations. Our room had a Christmas tree. We stayed in a room with one queen bed, fireplace and spa (hot tub). At first I thought it was strange with the spa right in the room (with the bed). But when I actually got IN to enjoy the spa, I thought it was GREAT! I could relax in the spa and watch TV, then just get out, towel off and climb into bed. The spa was spotlessly clean, and was surrounded by a tile border to stand on when getting out, so as to avoid getting the carpet wet. There was also a small table in the room so we invited a few relatives in to enjoy some appetizers and beverages before going out to dinner. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We would be happy to stay there again!

Room Tip: Our room was at the end of the hall on the 2nd floor. It was a very busy time for the hotel - being...
