Spent the night there during the Thanksgiving weekend. From the uniformed doormen to the gracious front desk persons to the breakfast chefs we found the service to be impeccable. The rooms are nicely furnished but basically your typical upscale hotel room, with the exception that each room is decorated for Christmas. The hot breakfast is cooked as you like. My granddaughter was thrilled to meet Rudolph and entranced by the Glockenspiel outside the breakfast area. The hotel common areas are beautifully decorated, as you would expect of "The Inn at Christmas Place". And to top it off they arranged for an overnight snowfall just for our viewing enjoyment.

After reading all of the rave reviews, I was so excited to stay at this hotel. I will say that the decorations were beautiful. Other than that, our experience was average. The beds were fine, but nothing to write home about. The front desk staff wasn't nasty, but I wouldn't exactly describe them as overly friendly or cheerful, either. I think my biggest complaint was with the food. You would think that for $200+ per night, the food would be above average. Yes, their breakfast buffet is vast, but I think they choose the most inexpensive, tasteless food they can get their hands on. The cookies were even flat. I've had better cookies from the grocery store or our stays at other chain hotels. As for the Christmas store across the street, it was disorganized, the selection was meager and the stock was the same. I'm sorry I cannot rave about this hotel and I am sure that will anger some, but I just found our stay to be average. We experienced it once, but we will not return.

Best hotel I have I stayed at in Pigeon Forge. It cost a little bit more but the memories make it worth every dollar. We enjoyed a magic show, cookies with Santa, and a Rudolph character visit. The room was beautifully decorated with our very own miniature Christmas tree. The breakfast was hot and delicious. My only regret was getting a "courtyard" view as I heard the cars driving by throughout the night.

Room Tip: Avoid a "courtyard" view if you are a light sleeper.

The owners also own the Christmas Place shops across the street. Both are first class. Only expect the best. Both the hotel and the shops will put you in the Christmas spirit any time of the year. Like most 1st class operations, it's going to cost you more. If you can afford it, it is well worth the price.

We stayed at the Inn at Christmas Place Thanksgiving night. From the beautiful landscaping to front entrance, the Inn is adorned with the most beautiful Christmas Lights and Decorations. Inside it is even more beautiful with gorgeous trees and a huge fireplace. The clock in the lobby is breath taking. The front staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The lovely decorations and workmanship continued in the room. The breakfast will exceed your expectations!! Our 10 year old son enjoyed the pool and holiday movies that you can borrow from the front desk. We will be back!

I didn't say the cheapest but well worth the money. Have stayed here a few times. No matter what the season it is all Christmas inside the hotel. Christmas trees and other decoration. Hallways and in every room there are holiday decorations. The breakfast is fantastic. A number of different stations get your eggs, waffles like you like them. Numerous juices, coffees, teas and every kind of pastry including Krispy Kreme donuts. Room are large some with balconies. Bell men are great. But one day we had to wait til after 3Pm for room to be serviced. Also would like better toilet paper and towels. They are not bad but would fit with rest of hotel amenities. They have cider, tea and coffee available all the time. Cookies later in evening and during holidays characters come in for kids. Across the street is a huge Christmas shop associated with hotel.

We spent one night at the Inn. It is a wonderful place to stay. All the staff were so nice! This is the friendliest place I've ever stayed. They had free cookies and coffee, cider, or cocoa in the evening and free movies with some great Christmas titles. There is a hidden Nativity on every floor and the decorations throughout the Inn are beautiful.
