No hot water, no blankets, no wifi, no phone, dirty toilets, scary parking, right on a busy road, had to be very careful loading the car or we would get hit, no coffee for breakfast and the coffee pot was filthy in our room.
When we got there our curtains where very old ,falling apart,didnt hook to rod I had to pull them together for them to be closed. The shower curtain had mold on the bottom . Th bathroom its self was falling apart. Had to go ask for hairdryer but when I booked the room it was suppose to have a dryer in it. The carpet had not been vaccumed ,but she kept our beds made .My mom liked the wooden beds but couldn't get into them . Would not go back to this one again !!!
The motel was under renovation at the time my husband and I stayed. We got a good deal on the room through Travelocity otherwise we probably would have stayed some where else. The room definitely needed renovating but was clean. The free breakfast consisted of cold cereal and doughnuts but hey it was free. The room had a mini fridge, coffee pot, and television that shared the same electrical outlet.
There was limited parking which was some what of an inconvenience. The motel is next door to the Dixie Stampede and all though there is plenty of parking in their parking lot, others parked in the limited spaces of the motel. One major complaint that I have has nothing to do with the motel. The first night we stayed, the parking on the side of the motel was full so we parked in the open lot in front of the rooms that are under renovation. The parked in a clearly marked parking space and the next morning we had a parking warning from Pigeon Forge public works saying not to park in the lot (which is owned by the motel).
All in all the motel was worth what I paid for.
