Great time. The cabana is worth the purchase. We always eat somewhere else as oppose to on site. Short lines for all the attractions. Stayed in a family deluxe suite which was nice. The first night the master shower only had warm water. The next day only cold water. Called the front desk and maintenance was there quick. Though he brought the wrong part and it took almost 2 hours before we could leave for dinner. We were on the second floor and way past 11pm we listened to stomping on the ceiling.

When my husband first mentioned staying here I immediately went to Tripadvisor to check the reviews. After reading review after review, we debated for over a week whether we should try it or not. With hesitation we booked a room the night before our planned arrival. I must admit, it was a nice surprise! We arrived around 5 o'clock and check-in was quick and easy. Due to reserving a room so late we received a queen and a sleeper sofa, but this actually worked out great and it was a very spacious room (it had a kitchen, which worked great for us throughout our stay). We were on the ground floor with no balcony, but this did not bother us at all becuase we were rather close to the water park, so it made our walk with two little ones much easier. My only complaint with the room was the carpet really had wear and tear (it was coming apart and we could see the carpet pad...yikes). Other than that, the room was super clean. The waterpark was much cleaner than I expected, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with how attentive each lifeguard was during their duty. We didn't use the towel cards because we didn't want to worry about someone taking our towels and then having to pay $25 per towel, so we opted to use our own that I brought from home. Regarding food, we only ate at the hotel once. We ordered pizza at the waterpark and took it back to our room on our first night. Other than that, we left the hotel for meals. We enjoyed the adventure forest at night after the waterpark, yes, it's pricey, but we expect to pay higher prices when visiting hotels such as WATS. We also visited the pottery place during our stay, and had a great time. Our children really enjoyed it, and it was perfect for the stormy morning when the waterpark was closed.

We have stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge many times in the past, and I would say this is very comparable, I believe we may have even enjoyed this one a little more than GWL. If we visit the area again, we will stay at the WATS without hesitation.

My teenaged son spotted the water slide from the road and insisted we stay there. Surprised at how affordable it was ( price for the night included indoor and outdoor water parks)
Definitely plan on bringing the rest of the family back.
Amazed at how great the staff is including the life guards
Everyone was polite and friendly

This place was a lot of fun. It would be more fun with kids, but we enjoyed ourselves a lot. It wasn't overcrowded and it was cleaner than I expected. We did choose to eat at the Thirsty Miner. The food was pretty good, but I was expecting more variety for the lunch menu. For breakfast and dinner, it was a buffet, but we didn't experience that.

Our family of four (2 adults/11yo/6yo) stayed for one night, but got the second night free because we agreed to do the time share tour (very high pressure sales but we still said no). Our room was perfect! First floor of the main building right next to the entrance to the water park. There was NO noise, contrary to what we thought. Everything was well maintained and very clean. Our room had a queen bed with a twin bunk on top, and then a small privacy wall with a queen bed and sleeper sofa. Also had a small fridge and microwave. The balcony was nice also. Kids eat free at the restaurant, however drinks are $1.99 each and not included. We did the breakfast buffet once and won't do it again ($40 is too much for breakfast). Enjoyed our visit, kids can't wait to return.

We had a wonderful stay here with our kids and their friends. There is so much to do here, that you never need to leave the resort. The water features are fantastic. The fact that there are indoor attractions also was great because we had rain while there and it didn't slow the kids down. Another great think that we found here was the pottery shop. It was nice to bring the kids here for some down time after playing so hard. We are already planning our trip back next year. The food in the restaurant was not bad. The kids really enjoyed the room service pizza and the funnel cake was great also.

Room Tip: If going with the kids, add the all stay pass for the Adventure Forest. They were well used while w...
