Absolutely incredible place to celebrate your anniversary. My wife and I spent a long weekend celebrating our 40th at Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn. We stayed in the Trillium Cottage; very private, very comfortable, perfect for a romantic weekend. The cottage had a king size bed, a two person hot tub, living room, kitchenette, and large walk-in shower. The private back porch with the porch swing looking into the woods was a great place to unwind. We had a absolutely delicious breakfast brought to us each morning at the cottage. Everything was homemade. In the evenings there were freshly baked pies and cakes waiting for us. After the first night we made it a point not miss Eric's deserts. The buttermilk pie was great. If your looking for something special, very clean, comfortable, and with friendly, courteous service put this place on your radar scope.

We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed it, the location is excellent (close to a lot, but enough removed that you can relax) and the rolling farmland and mountain views are wonderful. The setup is similar to a farm house (albeit a large one)-- a large dining room, multiple sitting rooms, many many guest rooms and cottages, a large rocking chair porch, and an unobtrusive gift shop. One thing I really enjoyed was the quiet, I hardly noticed the other guests unless we were at breakfast. The staff is very considerate of everyone's needs, making special meals and nightly desserts for guests.
My one disappointment was that the guest rooms and bathrooms seemed outdated, not old-fashioned but just needing refreshing.

It's hard to believe that this beautiful scenic property is only a few short miles from all attractions and restaurants in the region. Stepping onto the porch with its fantastic views, the only sounds you hear are the hummingbirds, and perhaps the bull frog in the pond. Inside the Inn is warm and inviting. The staff go out of their way to make you feel like you are not just a guest, but a member of their extended family. The smells of breakfast being cooked each morning add to the anticipation of what will be served. It's impossible to leave hungry. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Room Tip: Each room is unique in its own way. Take some time to review each online. I've stayed in sever...

We stayed here in early May of 2014. It was unusually warm and everything was coming into full bloom - the grounds are beautiful. Rooms are nice and spotless. Breakfast is very, very good. Nice porch for some easy relaxing and talking to some of the other guests. Not too far from the National Park and all of the touristy stuff. This is a family owned operation and the owners have lived here all their lives so they have a good feel for the area and the history. This is a Christian establishment and each breakfast is started with a prayer. The only suggestion I would make is that the breakfast start at 8:30 rather than 9. We like to get an early start to the day. This is the third bed and breakfast we have stayed at near the Smokeys. All of them were great but I think Mountain Mist was the best of the three.

We just spent last weekend and I already want to make the 4 hour drive back! This weekend was a dream and just a little taste of heaven. We had a standard room (Laurel Falls) and it was very elegantly decorated. I loved the cast iron tub in our room! Not sure how many other rooms have this feature. The few I saw that were occupied just yet when we arrived were just wonderful as well. Everything was clean and inviting. The food there is amazing and they really do go out of their way to make sure your stay is superb. We had a couples massage and Tammi and Mark did a great job. I really loved this place and if you need a couples get-away, you won't find a better place!

Room Tip: Laurel Falls had an awesome few, but an upgraded room called Rainbow Falls was also breathtaking and...

My children and I spent Easter in the Honeysuckle cottage. It was absolutely amazing! The amenities are simply the best. This was my first Bed and Breakfast experience. I cannot say enough about the breathtaking views. It is such a great place to reflect on life and feel refreshed. The staff is so accomodating...a very special thanks to Kollette. I look forward to returning very soon in the future.

Room Tip: The Honeysuckle cottage is very quaint and cozy. It has everything you might want or need. You could...

I am sitting in a rocking chair on the porch enjoying the peace and quiet...hidden away from all the "touristy" atmosphere of pigeon forge/gatlinburgh. What a delight, great bed, great breakfast, other fun guests. This is a best of bests BnB.
