“Good customer service, small portion food”
Reviewed 29 June 2014 via mobile

We went to this restaurant because we love Thai food. We went there on Friday evening and there was only one employee working in the restaurant (he was a being a host, waiter and a cashier). He was very friendly and polite. Sprite and cokes we ordered were kind of flat, so we asked to have iced tea instead. We ordered Calamari for appetizer (around $7) and we were surprised how small portion it was (we were used to the size of Calamari at Olive Garden, etc). But it tasted great. We had Massaman curry, Pad Thai and chicken on a stick with Fried rice from the children's menu. All the food was good, except the fried rice. It had a distinct flavor that I really didn't care for... Overall, we enjoyed our dinner there and probably will go back next time we are in town.

“Traditional Thai in the heart of Dixie”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

Don’t be put off by the location. Tucked in a strip mall on the parkway, this unassuming little place hits the spot when you’re tired of the southern staples, and want some authentic Thai food. There are tables – or you can do take-out. This isn’t royal Thai cuisine, nor is this the trendy fusion. The selections are what you’d expect in a traditional typical large-city Thai restaurant, without having been watered down for the local palette, prepared with fresh ingredients and fragrant sauces.

“We love Thai food - so we kinda like this place.”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

Thai food is NOT popular around the country mainly due to the spices and higher prices. But just ask for the 'cure' to the spices - a slice of cold cucumber on your tongue. (suck on it - don't eat it) I wouldn't take a large family but you won't go broke with just one or two of you. Get the Gow Pad Soparote (chicken fried rice in pineapple). Oh my it is good!

“Thai Palace is a hidden gem in Sevierville”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

The Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area has hundreds of restaurants. Unfortunately, it is hard to get noticed in the area unless your restaurant is a national chain, incorporates live horses or has a dinner show. If your only requirement is a great meal then you won't be disappointed by the Thai Palace. We have dined there on two occasions and each time it was excellent. The waitstaff is very professional and courteous. The food is delicious. While the menu is not extensive, every item that we have ordered has not disappointed. I hope that this small gem of a restaurant does not get lost in the sea of restaurants in the area.

“Real Thai”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

This is one of the very best Thai restaurants that I have ever visited. I went here with some hesitation, primarily because of its location...tucked away in a tiny strip of other businesses. I've had some hauntingly bad experiences with Asian food in a strip mall scene. But, this place is fabulous. My wife and I went here for dinner. I've had Thai several times, but she had not, so she didn't stretch much on trying something new to her. The appetizer was fried calamari, and it is by far the best that we have ever had!! My main course was curry chicken, made as spicy as they offered, and it was great. Service was great, very hospitable host and waiter, and priced very fairly. This is authentic Thai food, no doubt. We will definitely be going back!!
