Spent one night here. First night in the indoor pool area the attendent was over bearing and constantly on people for doing things that were not against the rules. The next morning we met Tiffany she was the morning pool attendent. We booked another night because she was so great.

Thank you for leaving a review regarding your stay at The Resort. We always encourage our guest to communicate with us about their stay. This way we can always find ways to strive for better guest experience. Management apologies that the initial pool attendant that you came in contact with on your first night at the pool caused you concern, however, it is wonderful to hear that Tiffany’s services as a pool attendant the next morning encouraged you to book another night with us. Our staff here at The Resort has and will always push for the best guest experience possible. We hope that you will be back to visit with us again soon!

My husband and I booked this room for a weekend getaway. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The rooms are condo style/suites and some rooms share an entry area then have separate doors into the suites. We had obnoxious neighbors who were loud and woke us both mornings by slamming doors and yelling/talking extremely loud. We didn't complain to management. Overall our stay was good.

This is not a "luxury" resort. I was somewhat disappointed that what seemed advertised was not reality. Dated fixtures & countertops, spartan furnishings, and sub-par linens and toiletries.

The bathroom only has one switch that controls vanity light, shower area light and fan together. Would have preferred separate switches!! This may seem minor but glaring lights and a loud fan early in the morning is not my favorite way to get ready.

The indoor "waterpark" is much smaller than anticipated, but adequate and definitely nicer than just a pool. However it was stifling hot and the chlorine smell was so strong I had a headache and sore throat after only 30 minutes. There is no lifeguard, and on an extremely busy Saturday night, there was only one "attendant" trying to police the water slides.

Pros: clean, quiet

I visited here with my husband and two kids, for a cheer competition.

Thank you so much for your review. We are so happy that you found our property to be nice and clean. Cleanliness is a must! We first and foremost want to apologize that we did not meet your expectations as that is our desire with each and every guest. We certainly apologize that you did not enjoy our water-park which contains the following features-the three thrilling slides, water volleyball, and basketball , zero entry pool, 20 person hot tub, endless swimming, lumberjack roll, lazy river, children's pool, sauna, outdoor Jacuzzi, and pool, or the huge pirate's ship in which children can play. We do hope that you will give us another chance to show you that we want to meet the expectations of every guest and will desperately try to do accomplish that with your family.

From the beginning it was great the girls checking us in were very friendly and helped us with directions and suggestions for places to visit and eat at. When we got there we first thought we were further from Pigeon forge than we wanted to be but after finding Veterans Blvd. We realized that Dollywood was only 5 mins away if that and downtown was only another couple minutes. We love the views from the room and the quietness of the location. We will definitely be back.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your recent stay with us. We are excited to hear how much you enjoyed your stay with us and we are glad to hear how much our guest service agents were able to assist you. We are closer to Pigeon Forge than people realize and we are happy to hear that you were able to find Veterans Blvd. which is a six lane highway running adjacent to the parkway and passes by Dollywood and straight into Pigeon Forge. Thank you again and we hope to see you all soon

I have to say that our one bedroom condo was nice. This was not the best resort I have stayed in, but not the worst. The room was clean and roomy. The beds were okay at first, they were advertised as soft, but after a night’s sleep they were kind of hard. And it took us a while to realize that one of the wall outlets in the bedroom only worked when the light switch was in the on position. You had turn each lamp off manually so you could use that plug in, this was very odd and at midnight somewhat of an inconvenience. We traveled with family who checked in an hour before us and their room was not ready 3 hours after the check in time, so they had to be put in the opposite building. This made visiting difficult because you cannot go between the two buildings after 11:00PM, doors are locked. We had to walk outside and around to get back in. I understand that the pool area, which is the link between buildings, is not open at that time, but an alternative route would be beneficial to guests staying in the separate building. This also would not have been an issue if their room had been cleaned at time of check in. As far as the indoor water park, it was extremely overcrowded and the water was cloudy. There were way too many guests for such a small pool area. The pool with the volleyball net was nice for a game of volleyball, however, you could not let your child or yourself in it as the adults were so rough and it was so crowded you couldn’t even stand without having other bump into you. The 1 1/2ft pool is perfect for toddlers, but my nine year old had to play in it as nothing else was available for him. The pool area did have several attendants to keep the guests from entering the pool with the waterslides, I am sure this was a safety issue; the attendants did a good job of running guests out of that pool. However they said nothing to how rough the people were in the volleyball pool, and nothing was said to the parents who let their child pee in the kiddie pool. Thankfully we witnessed this and were able to get our son out. The only other issue we had was not the fault of the resort but their lack of record keeping did cause an inconvenience. Another guest had parked so close to us we could not get into the driver side of our vehicle. The resort did help me in trying to locate the owner by make/model and tag number. However, when the employee printed the list of guests in the hotel, the majority of the vehicle information was not entered into the computer. I asked if this was entered since it was required when I checked in and was told that they go back and enter the info when they have time. The employee was extremely nice during this, but if the info would have been entered upon check in, we would have known who to call to move their van, instead of waiting 45 minutes for them to come out. Overall, I do not feel we could stay here again. We had too many negative issues. If you plan to book with this resort, you may want to go in the summer when the “swimming” pool is open.

It truly saddens us to read your comments about our property. We have tried to offer many different amenities and activities so that every single age group would have something that they could enjoy doing, but see that we were not able to accomplish that for you. We apologize.

Up until now, we had considered the fact of having a light switch at the entrance of the room, a good feature which prevented the guest from having to get to the lamp in the dark, but see that it did not meet your needs. We will re-evaluate this room feature. We are happy that you did find the property to be nice and clean which is a must for us. We do apologize for your inconveniences. Thank you for your review and we will evaluate ways in which we can changes to meet even more of our guests needs.

We stayed here for one night but wish it had been a week. Very comfortable and roomy. The beds were soft and clean. Bathrooms were big enough for more than one person to be getting ready in the mornings. I loved how close it was to the tanger outlets. I will definitely be staying again soon!
