Wendy and Tom are the best hosts ever..... you feel at home as soon as you step into the inn...
Wonderful innkeepers but also amazing cooks, gardeners, and "decorators"!
There is definitively magic all other this place! And the view is breathtaking!
Not worth one second of hesitation.......

This was our first visit to The Smokies and although we had seen the photos of the Braeside B&B on their website, they didn't do justice to the reality.
Tom & Wendy are excellent hosts and the accommodation is definitely 5 Star Plus.Within 5 minutes of meeting our hosts we felt as though we had known them forever, that's how comfortable we were made to feel.
And the food was superb! Wendy is an excellent cook and set us up for the day with fabulous breakfasts.
This trip was part of our 25th Wedding Anniversary celebration and our choice could not have been better. We even purchased a beautiful wooden box, expertly hand carved by Tom, as a memento of our stay.
We have stayed at many 5-star establishments all over the world and would certainly class The Braeside B&B among the best of these.

My fiancee and I stayed at the Braeside in mid March of 2013, and absolutely loved it. The flowers were starting to bloom around the house, and the views, even on a weekend that was largely overcast, were stunning. Wendy is a truly gifted cook, so breakfast was something to truly look forward to, even for a couple of admittedly late risers. I would be delighted to return, and it was a perfect first B&B experience for us.

Wendy and Tom have created a lovely bed and breakfast with great attention to every detail! From the thermo massage baths, to the fluffy robes, library for cd's, movies and books and Scottish touches everywhere to share a part of her ancestry with the guests. The gorgeous rooms each have their own perfect views. And the large covered back patio is ideal to relax with a nice cup of cocoa and just enjoy the peace and serenity. Food was scrumptious and we can't wait to plan a return trip. Thanks again for booking us at the last minute while we were avoiding the blizzard at home!

We have stayed at this B&B several times in the last few years. It is so very comforting to know exactly what to expect each time -- wonderful hosts, great accommodations, awesome food, and a spectacular view. I always leave refreshed, relaxed . . . and full of good food! Looking forward to going again soon.

You feel the magic as soon as you drive up to the Braeside Inn. The Inn is cozy, the views are spectacular, and the food is delectable. Everything is sparkling clean. There are so many special touches throughout the inn, and you get to experience a bit of Scottish culture. Tom and Wendy are amazing hosts and treat you as though you are an old family friend. Wendy's nightly desserts are the best. My life seemed a little richer after crossing paths with this dear, witty, kind couple. This was a perfect location to reconnect with a dear friend. I can't wait to return for a second visit. Experience the magic...

You must visit The Braeside Inn ASAP! Tom and Wendy are fantastic innkeepers. They have thought of every detail to make your stay perfect, and they are very warm and inviting. It's the little things that make this place so great, like being greeted by name on our way back in from a day out and about, having Tom remember every morning that I like a glass of water with my coffee, and yummy treats always out on the counter waiting for us. My husband and I have stayed in many B&Bs, but this was by far the best one, because of the personal atmosphere. Delicious breakfasts and desserts, immaculately clean, gorgeous view, and excellent conversation and recommendations from Tom and Wendy. Braeside is close to all the attractions, hiking, and outdoor adventures. However, our favorite thing to do was sit by the fire in the den or rock on the porch enjoying the view. We were very well taken care of, and we are definitely going back!

Room Tip: Makintosh is the biggest and has the prettiest view, although all the rooms are beautifully appointe...
